Some more things to try:
- Go to runlevel 3. Edit (on the server side)
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/X0.hosts to contain a single line without
trailing/leading spaces containing only the server ip in dotted quad
notation. Now start (on the client)
/usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86
and on the server enter
export DISPLAY="client-ip-here:0"
xterm &
If xterm shows up, first part won...
Try /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86 -broadcast
works?
- kdm or gdm, just to verify it's xdm's fault?
