I cannot stand the CPC's. They seem very tenderfooted on a W210; if you so much 
as just miss a pothole, they will slip a belt. 

Michelin primacy mxv4+ (V rated) work well.

Iirc there was advice against oversizing the front tires due to excess wear on 
the steering gear....
