Directly on the cylinder like from inside the window? Nope, seems like it'd be
difficult, lots of plastic in there...

Last time I worked at it I wore gloves and heated a brass key (because its
essentially disposable) and worked it in the lock. I seem to have gotten a
little more movement out of each lock...

I have a theory that somebody greased the locks before I got the car as the
locks on this car froze up a lot easier than either my old wagon or my 190D.
They'd get stiff if it was cold out no matter what and would freeze frequently.
I'd always ment to do something about it and never got around to it...

Have you tried some heat to the cylinder?

before I sold the car I'd had this issue off and on but I was chasing it by

years... I've been hitting the locks with penetrant hard for a couple weeks
and the passenger one is starting to gain, the driver's lock has gained a
little (dammed little, 1/32" maybe). I think eventually I'd get the
locks freed up through persistance but as I say I want to get this car on the
road... I want to have the ability to have my 190D off the road for awhile so I
can pay some attention to the A/C which I don't dare to do if I need the car
to go to work the next day...
