I know you are not doing it intentionally but you keep demonstrating the PR problem - not mailing list readers nor newspapers readers are the target audiance for this announcment. As I see that the audiance is people which are involved and care about FOSS and which the use mailing list method drives them away. You probably remember that Ram Matityahu wanted to be involved in W2L. Ram almost never uses e-mail and has no permanent address. The solution you gave him in order to enable his involvement in orgenaizing W2L was... gmail address. The readers are welcome checking who involved was he thereafter (Ok, Ok, don't bother the answer is - he wasn't). I write this knowing theres not even a slight chance Ram will read it but make no mistake Ram's care and scontribution shows well in the JLC and in other places. Free (as beer) advertising in FOSS related websites would have reached him and others. As you put many efforts in the web archieve I expected you'll announce them publiclly and get the propper credit but you didn't. Only now I undrstand why.
