Yep, in whichever direction you drive, it's a scenic run, unless it's foggy or 
a moonless night!

When I was at the top of the Cairn at the beginning of last month, en route to 
our first North-East Noggin of the year, there was a foot of snow.  It was 
merely wet in Aboyne and Fettercairn (Ramsay Arms - recommended).

      One of the most enjoyable training courses I ran was in Aberdeen and as 
most of the hotels were full because of an oil conference I stayed at a funny 
place called Aboyne, Deeside Lodge...wonderful.

      I always said I wanted to go back one day ;-)
