eric,
all so true and well said... and on that same note...be careful of
anyone that tries to sell "unauthorized re-strikes" or "rare
printer's proofs".... these fancy terms for cheap or "dime a dozen"
common posters are also used to rip off and attempt to scam unknowing
or new buyers or collectors...it's just as shameful and fraudulent.

I agree with you 100%. To me it's like dining. If I get sick once
in a
place, as long as it has the same owner, I'm not going to eat there
again....why tempt fate and convince myself that the other food is OK,
especially if more than one diner (or poster collector) has the exact
same experience.
I also look to the intent; these guys are no dummies and they have to
know exactly what they are selling. That to me is an intent to
purposely defraud someone.
I also confess that I probably would not have been been alerted to
these, since I have never seen a very white lobby card, period. My
lobby
cards are all "dingy yellow and dirty looking". It's probably because
they are more modest titles. I have seen some cards in great
shape, but
never "minty white".
Is it safe to say that some of you have cards that look this good and
are original...if so, I'm envious.
