Subject: Re: MD Pure Quality!
Hi Platt and TB,
Thank you both for the kind words. I'd like to join in the current
discussion but events are stretching me out thinly, although I do stop to
contemplate an analogy now and again. I find these help to raise questions
of an intellectual understanding of the MoQ in the absence of one's
colleagues.
The analogy is not meant to be taken as a direct representation, only, as
I've said to create feed back questions up to a point, for one's own
understanding.
The analogy of a stone being skimmed across the ocean came to mind as I read
through some of the posts on the discussion of dynamic quality, and this
seemed particularly relevant when Marco suggested/felt? that static value
as the MoQ seems to say awareness is) could have weight. That is, that
static quality (the stone) meets briefly with dynamic quality (the cutting
edge of the ocean/Quality), drawn to it, changes occur, unpredictably, and a
new trajectory is created. There have been many spin off questions which I
believe are helpful, of an understanding (even in their failings).
I don't expect anyone to take up this analogy in a discussion here, its just
that we should take note of these aesthetic intuitions, you never know where
they came from or what they may be trying to tell us?
Thanks
Jeremy
