I completely agree with removing the desk and using the mac table or kidney table as your desk. I positioned mine so that I have shelves and cabinets behind me. This aloud me to utilize the space as a desk when the kids were not in the room and clear off the space for my guided reading table. I think you will love the space this will bring you.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you had a teacher's desk in your room or instead used the small group table or another table as your desk. I like having something that is "mine" and off limits to the kids, but I also know that it's kind of a waste of space b/c most of the stuff that is in my desk could be store somewhere else. It would open up some space in my room if I used the macaroni table as a desk. Thought or ideas? Thanks, Shannon _______________________________________________ Mosaic mailing list Mosaic@literacyworkshop.org To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org.
