Yes, I have a "Multi 3100" for depth and speed (from GPS or
paddlewheel). It also displays battery voltage, log, and water
temperature and has a race start timer.
I have mine wired to a GPS for the speed display (I sail mostly in
non-tidal waters), and I used the "in-hull puck" depth transducer.
This is designed to be installed inside a solid glass hull, but you
can cut through the inner skin and core, and stick the transducer
with silicone sealant to the outer hull laminate. It works great.
Navman's warrantee service is good, too. I have had the unit replaced
due to a cracked screen, at no charge.
