Do you mean like this

John

That's better
Thank you. :)

It would be nice if I could alter the composer setting for newbie.
I cannot see that it is possible without altering the global settings.
One has to remember to do this each time.

John - why are you worried about this? In what circumstances do you need it?

I don't think anyone is worried about this, it's just as Derek points out, easier for others
if in the case of list addressing policy, the composer window when it comes up didn't
have the reply to address of the replier, because when the email is received the other
end the recipient does not then have to add the newbie address as a little chore. It's
no big deal to alter it, but it's nice if you didn't have to. All derek is saying is that if
I remember to remove the replyto address in my composer window the little chore is
done away with, but I am saying it isn't every time you remember to do it, and so
if there were a way of altering the composer setting for newbies type lists so that
the composer winow didn't automatically come up with a reply to address, all would
be easier, but if such a policy were possible it has to be specificly for newbie type
lists because in all other cases you DO want replyto address to be included in
composer windows.
