I understand your concern but I can assure you that Mandrake has done a Fantastic job on the installer, infact it is one of the things that makes mandrake really stand out from the rest of the crowd. If I remember correctly back about 6 months ago a guy named civileme did most of the coordinating work with the team that developed the installer for 9.2 and he went to great efforts to get it right.
