I know none of the parties involved, but I have seen all the names over the MANY years I've been a CF'er (January of 1996).
1) It's a free market and Adobe and New Atlanta are COMPETITORS no matter how you want to slice it. They can choose to air their laundry in public if they wish....a stupid move IMHO. It's their right and as competitors they DO NOT have to get along. For the betterment of the CF community I'd like to see things amiable...but nowhere is it written that they must play nice. 2) If an employee of mine behaved as Adobe and NA representatives have been behaving in a public forum I'd be having one stern chat!! 3) All I can say about the OpenBD camp is that I have received EXCELLENT support when I have asked...and PROMPT. I cannot say the same for Adobe (or for Macromedia for that matter....but Allaire was good). I can als say I'll really liking OpenBD. Anyways....2 cents from someone outside the petty bickering Hope you all sort it out! Cheers -- Bryan Stevenson B.Comm.
