I am disappointed. I'd installed opensolaris 2009.06 and uninstall it in favor of Sun SXCE. In my opinion, it is much more polished in terms of the desktop. Things are much more well integrated, the icons are nicer, and I love the Sun background wall paper.

The default icons in SXCE are identical to those in 2009.06 (both use the Nimbus theme by default), so I assume you've changed something in your SXCE theme config? What theme are you using instead?

It's true we no longer ship the Blueprint theme in 2009.06, which was the default in Solaris 10 and is still an option in SXCE, but that's to save space on the LiveCD as much as anything. I'm sure we could make Blueprint available as a separate package if people like it that much -- feel free to file a bug.

And can you give us examples of what you think is "better integrated"? Bar one desktop feature I can think of that SXCE has and 2009.06 doesn't, there shouldn't really be any difference between the two.

Cheeri,
Calum.
