It comes down to the words evidence based that I am not fond of. If we are 
truley doing evidence based practice then it should be "cook book". Evidence 
based gives a connotation of something it is not. Yes I believe that we 
should look at what research results have shown, but I think more than 
anything that we need to acknowledge that is is not meaning that we will be 
fully successful. There is chance of failure in everything treatment that we 
do.     I just beleive you do what ever you need to do to get the patient to 
where they need/want to be. Whether the evidence says only 10% see results 
and I have tried everything else, then I will try it as well. You have to 
take your chances if nothing else work, yet you need to believe in everything 
you becuase sometimes it is the mind game with the patient. If they beleive 
they have a greater chance of healing, the mind is a powerful thing. That is 
something that evidence does not always consider.
