Pictures Please! Powell PS: I had a very, very minor role in the Airplanes take off. Pre Grace Slick they filled to over flowing the War Memorial Gym at UBC and their manager was very pleased when I sold him photos of the event for, I think, the huge sum of $50. It was the biggest crowd they had ever drawn at that time. Wish I still had those pictures.
