It never gets that cold here, but it sure gets hot. Shooting at 12am when it's +30°C is a good test of a sensors abilities. Hopefully the engineers have laid out the circuits a bit better to minimise heat build up & the resulting amp glow.. What I like to do at night is a torture test of a cameras abilities, WRT long exposures, but it has a knock on effect for plain old high ISO shooting.
