  Since we're trying to be precise, I would go with either

  InvalidDepotResponseException

  since the depot has given a bad response, or

  BadVersionsResponseException

  because of the operational failure of versions/0.  Feel free to
  exchange Bad and Invalid.  I wouldn't use Authority or Repository
  here.
