Hi Phil,


The message is due to a security problem in the X server if you use the default 
security settings. I know of it but I do not have a handy receipe to solve it. 
Tk's send command allows you to send any command to the X host, which is why 
this message pops up.



The Tk driver requires some Unix-specific routines and therefore they are not 
buildable on Windows. The ntk driver does not. Something I might look into 
post-release.
