And how would or could a democracy work with our population and the
spread of the population. How would you ensure fair and free votes for
the various items that required voting on. Still another of your

That's because we're a Republic and not a Democracy apparently.
Republics worked great under the first Roman Caesar.
Empire expansion, wars, occupations, and killing your way to the top
positions were the rules, and any documents, edicts or public opinions
rarely ever stopped them.
