Has nothing to do with when you win. That is Democracy only insofar as
it is used to select the representative who will execute the republican
duties for the citizens. Once the election is over it then reverts to a
republic rather than a democracy.
For it to be a democracy everyone would have to vote whether to raise
minimum wage or declare war or bail out banks or stimulus funding or
healthcare reform, not just the senate and house of representatives.
Tell me again how you are going to do all that. The citizens would not
have time to make the money that the current administration is siphoning
off the economy for their ridiculous initiatives.
