Just returned home this evening--and the only thing useful I can add to
the "how do yu known who to credit with a song" brouhaha (or whatever it
was) is this: Virtually everybody here, and virtually all publishing
kritics, regardless of msuical persuasion or national origin, has got
pretty decent internet search tools at hand to help with this kind of
reference really fast! It's not such a big deal to get some info.
And with the excellent Sherlock tools on current Macs, BTRW, you can search
all those search engines at once--try "Wild and Blue" (exact phrase! on the
major search engines or Sherlock and you'll find all these
references--including the multiple references to Mr. Anderson's hit.
Just one editor's hint for writers.
