Thanks to Richard, Shangara and Rod for tips. I've reset prefs on start-up,
tried healing brush on a newly created RGB file - still no brush. Just
called Adobe Tech Support - I assume everyone else here knows they decline
to offer free tech support if you have an archaic, non-current version such
as 7.01 - ? I told them I was appalled by their demand for cash to help me
solve a problem with their bloody software...
Anyway, perhaps the easiest thing is simply to re-install the program,
n'est ce pas? I'd been thinking of upgrading to CS but I'm frankly cheesed
off with Adobe. Is Corel a viable alternative?
