But, yes, the engine should still bolt to your existing gearbox and

But wouldn't that leave the car undergeared?
The diesel doesn't rev anywhere near as high as a petrol engine.
Do I compensate for this by swapping the crownwheel/pinion/final drive
too? Does the LSD in the ERST box cause problems doing this?
