I'm not certain the Diesel clutch is different to the petrol one on the Fiesta but i know a lot of parts are uprated on diesels. You may find changing the clutch pedal to a non XR2 one will help with your heavy pedal. There were also several options on the clutch pedal quadrants which trade off pedal travel against pedal force.

Remember the Mondeo has larger wheels and rolling radius than the Fiesta/Escort
You need to put those in the spreadsheet as well.

I would probably fit a Mk3 Fiesta Diesel clutch.

Good point Jim.

Mondeo is on 185/65/14, Quantum is on 185/55/14.
That's only one tyre size, so I'd decided not to worry too much about it.

What would be the advantage of the Fiesta Diesel clutch over the XR3i?
(Bearing in mind I'm looking to make the clutch a lot lighter).
