Hi,
Seen I started this I just would like to add, that if you wish to create
a list and it makes you feel better and make you feel like you have
accomplished something, then go for it...

But _IMHO_ these and many other lists are used to _HELP_ people who ask
the so called dumb questions.

What one person considers dumb another may not, if you have never dealt
with something before you need help and thats what we are here for, as a
community to _help_ each other regardless of knowledge or status.

I will admit some questions are dumb, but everyone has been guilty at
some point of mailing before engaging brain ;-)

The Linux community has got the nerdy, I 'm better than you reputation,
But it is starting to slowly vanish, but suggestions like these will
just bring it back.

we all have different degrees of knowledge, which is why these lists are
so great, there is always someone to help.

Personally I get a buzz out of knowing that I just helped someone who
has been agonizing over something for weeks and I answered there
question, yeah its a great feeling knowing I helped someone.

I do understand how you feel, about some questions, you think geez
doesn't he know that, it simple..yes for people who know, so we educate
them and then they help the next person.

Some are just down right silly..but they also make you laugh as well,
because some are silly.

Mark
