The Globe agreed to ownership's interview terms: We'll tell you what we want
you to know provided you keep our names out of it.

You can criticize the paper, I guess. But they're job is to get information
out there. If the price for that information is keeping out a "declined to
comment" sentence then so be it. Not too heavy a price.

I mean, this happens in Washington all the time. Everything is on back
ground, not for attribution.
