I recently updated my kde to the 3.0.1 rpms. Since then, I can no longer
encrypt emails using kmail and gpg. Before, I could at least select the
encryption button even though it returned a "malformed header" error. Now,

I run xine to view a dvd. Xine shows the pictures fine without any
problems but I don't have any sound.
Otherwise sound works (CD, signal-wavs in KDE, etc). The audio tab in the
config screen of xine shows "audio driver to use: 'null'".

I had qt3 installed but I guess there was something wrong with the rpm. Your link
didn't work but I found a texstar rpm. I had to force it to install but kde3 works
now. I think that the rpms I installed before were from cooker.

Yes, /etc/lilo.conf has identical append="hdc=ide-scsi" settings for both kernels.
