[expert] kde 3.0.1; kmail gpg not available

I recently updated my kde to the 3.0.1 rpms. Since then, I can no longer encrypt emails using kmail and gpg. Before, I could at least select the encryption button even though it returned a "malformed header" error. Now, the encrypt options are totally greyed out. Is anyone else having this
