I just purchased 2 JR 9303s, one new, one used.
How do I tell what version of software is in them?
It doesn't seem to tell on power up like I've seen on other mfgs units. I
understand there was at least one upgrade from the early 9303s.
Thanks,
John in Denver
OK to set the Trailing edge in flight modes all you do is switch to the FM
you want and push the little trimmers on the top face of the 9303 the
direction you want the ailerons and flaps to go in that FM. These are the
ones on either side of the JR logo. That's all there is to it. Once you

You also need to set the flapern mix. Its just above the flap rate. Set the
values to +100 and you should see them work.

I just got a 9303 for an incredible price, and have run into a wall
trying to convert all my gliders over to it. I've followed this post

I just purchased a new JR 9303 Radio for sailplanes. Or should I say I
got the sailplane manual. Anyway I was told by a friend he remembers
seeing a quick or easy set-up guide for the radio online. I sure would
like to see it if it's out there.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
A friend wants to buy a particular type rubber duckie antenna for his JR
9303. I bought one for mine but forgot who I bought it from.
I know the antenna is sold for the Stylus transmitter. The antenna does not
have a quick disconnect. You have to unscrew the antenna from the
transmitter. I b
Trying to figure out if I want to keep my new 9303...there are some
shortcomings, one of which is I don't see a way to program reverse
differential when the flap stick reaches a certain point. I don't use
'landing mode' so it's not something that can be enabled with flight
modes. Anyone figur

For someone that does sailplanes and dlg, are there any advantages due
to switch location on the heli version versus the airplane version of
the 9303? This was the case with the 9C, so I thought I'd ask before
investing. Any input on the different versions would be appreciated.

setting up the 9303 transmitter has been a breeze. If you have a 9303, I

Ok I am not a virgin.. But in JR terms I think I
am.
All my model life I have been playing around with

One of the responses that I did receive, said something to the effect,

Hi All,
Although I'm a very BIG Airtronics Stylus fan, I have also been flying JR
since the X-347's debut. Along the way, I purchased the X-388, then a
couple of 8103s. I have used my JR radios primarily for handlaunch because
they are lighter and have longer run-times than the Stylus for the sa

programming the new JR 9303 for sailplanes? If somebody has published the
instructions, is it available on the internet?

Have you considered using the slider bar on the right for proportional
throttle control. At least it is open and would be available to be used.

The 9303 does not share this with the 9X. It does not have a backup battery
in it.

No, it is not. The 930-3 has a non-volatile memory in it. No battery
required.

I have a Graupner/JR MX22 radio, same physical form as the 9303 but
with different software, I think.
In the instruction book, there is a mention of a Lithium battery
that keep the memory in the tx "alive". The instruction said that

The flourish of 9303 posts has diminished. Here is one specific example
of it's versatility for programming sailplanes It opens up possibilities
heretofore unavailable in any radio regardless of price, let alone at a
$600.00 price point.
