No one responding? Sounds like a deja vu. That's sad!
Normally, it's Jesse Kuhnert who is responsible for T4 related issues. But
unfortunately he's left Tapestry. You may do so too. I wish you best of
luck.

Joachim,
Great tool but who cares here on the list? I should say you made a bad
decision by choosing Tapestry. Tapestry users are fading and you could tell
that yourself by looking at the traffic here on the list. If you had done it
for say GWT or Wicket, you would have received tons of feedbacks
one-and-only agenda, to waste people's time. If I want the answer,

Howard,
You're bundling an AOP into T5 core- a mere webframework? This is insane.
Howard, Webframework is simple and it seems you keep on over-engineering
something this simple. Well, when are you going to bundle a CORBA
implementation?
This guy is always coming up with an excuse not to release T5
Hi guys,
I don't mean to cause any depression or controversy but I saw this research
results and thought you might want to know. Because this makes me worry
about the future of Tapestry.
According to the research, Tapestry users declined drastically by 45% for
the first time in 3 years. I was very

Hi,
At the company where I'm working for, I've been recently assigned the task

Hi guys,
I've been sitting in my nice and soft chair, this time with a chilled beer
in my right hand, reading and enjoying this thread with really big LOLs. And
I noticed also there is a page on the Tapestry 5 wiki devoted to my name. I
have no problem with that at all. People who come across this
imes.

Please, please help. Howard, take your hands off that code, ok. You'll break
our current code base. You may do it in Tapestry 6. Because, again that
would be it's own beast- as usu

And especially, Howard himself recently participates in the answering of

Guys, stop the exagerations. Gmail, one of the best Internet application
ever written still has a beta status. Unlike Tapestry, Gmail has had the
beta status for years and would therefore trust it more than Tapestry which
I personally won't do anything serious with it beyond a little bit more

But there is an unofficial announcement at http://tapestryjava.blogspot.com/

I'm impatiently waiting for an official announcement at theserverside.com,
at least if Howard dares.

Of course with T5.0.6- even within different versions of T5 there is no

When I see these kinds of issues, all what I do is lean back in my nice,

Hi Andy,
Be wise and dig around the Internet to find answers to your questions and
don't turn to this list since they won't offer you a non-biased answers. For
a starter go to theserverside.com where recently a discussion was held on
Tapestry. The link is:

Howard,
I have 2 favorite adjectives about Tapestry 5: Over-engineerd and Volatile!!
Best wishes,

Hi,
Go grab Wicket of GWT. It's better documented and questions like what you
asked won't refer you to source code but to a well documented examples.
Above all the users of those lists are far, far more friendly.

Hi All,
Tomorrow is our last day of debate at my work about which framework to
choose for our upcoming huge project.
Its seems Wicket is winning the race for it's innovativeness, finess and
excellent support, they claim, unfortunately. Most on my team members are
concerned about the radically inco

Hi,
I am a newbie in Tapestry. Our organization is going to build a large scale
web application in 3 months time and me together with 2 other developers
have been asked to research and come up with a good web framework to use.
I suggested Tapestry but almost all the developers on our team rejected
