(313) track ID

Hi List,

Does anyone know what the first track is on the DJ Bone mix from
Ireland that he played this past weekend? It sounds familiar, and it
goes into Armando's 100% Of Dissin' You. many thanks in advance,

W.

RE: (313) DJ BONE.. ATTACKS - Week 11 - Live in Dublin 15 Oct 05]

2005-10-19 Thread The Archiver

OK, this is starting to go off topic, so I shall be brief...

1. We have been archiving for longer than we can remember.

2. TheArchiver.net is a non-profit organisation. It is not financially
lucrative.

3. There is no manual for Archiving.

4. Our Archives contain a huge amount of cool noises. Give me some time
I will send you some archived noise, it may not be cool, it may not be
313, but it will be an archived noise. Watch your email for it Kamal.

Yes it is true we don't have a website, but we have so much archived we
could never get it on a website.

Guess I'll be ordering one of them acme shellsuits then. Stealth,
doesn't get anymore underground than that. And I thought I had a handle

So archie, how long you been at this archive thing? Is it lucrative? It
sounds really techno. Is there a manual? Can you press random and have

I don't really understand what the problem is here. If Bone personally
said it was ok to post the link then it's OK. End of. Why is there a
need to "read between the lines'
of his real intention?
This whole streaming mp3 thing ruined this project for me. I really
enjoyed listening to the first 3 at work, which is really the only time
I get to listen to a lot of music.
Then the whole thing gets streamed and I'm f>cked cos they will not
let me use streaming at work. So bang, That's that. No more bone for
me. I really lost interest after that. To the point that I can't even
be arsed to download the rest of them as and when they get the green
light from the techno cops.
Reading the bone email, I understand it to say
I would like this to happen
"My intention was to  have

this show be a weekly moment in time. Once the moment us gone, so  is
the

mix"

But I know this will happen and I don't mind.

"I am not upset at any who downloaded or continue to download  these

mixes as long as you represent me and my art in true underground"

Could it really be any more clear?

Network and KMS(1989) put this out before Organico(1993) knew what music

My friend and I were talking about producers and djs within the
techno/detroit/electronic big genre who we liked that were under 25 y/o.
We were pressed to come up with names, not that we are ageist, but is
techno the new adult contemporary?
You folks know your music, who is worth watching or hearing that isn't
just another jaded generation x er.

damn, what bad timing i have. it's not like we get much 313 related action
here and i was out of the country on saturday night getting a table of
drinks spilt on me in hong kong by some people dancing to a remix of funky
town.
so what type of tracks was he playing - minimal? house? across the board?

grrr... 313 don't fail me this time!

So we had Dan Bell come play in Sydney on Saturday night. It was f**kin
awsome.

What was even more awesome was this though: the party had to close at 3:30,
just as Bell was kicking into top gear - I told the promoter about a
friend's birthday party that was still going on and would Dan (hereafter
referred to as God) like to come along and finish off his set there? Sure
enough, God hopped a cab across town and played for another two hours, for
free, for a birthday party (that was also boosted by about half the crowd
from his gig) as the sun rose. It was certainly one of the most memorable
nights of my clubbing career!

That's all I gotta say - I just had to share it with you guys.

For the Sydney-siders, he's also playing this Friday at the Mandarin Club.
