lol having experience with audiogame shooters don't exactly mean you have experiences with fps's. did you ever play call of duty? counterstrike? there is a difference between a game with a first person view, or an actual fps.

All I am going to say here is that I am immensely pleased that a team of two developers has decided that we're worth the effort of adding accessibility to what began as a mainstream game for the sighted, and initially most likely had no plans of accessibility implementation.  It makes it all the more pleasing to realize that a team with only two devs has decided to listen to our community, but companies with hundreds of coders absolutely refuse to even try to make things accessible.  That attitude is what pisses me off.  When a large company that makes a lot of money and has hundreds of programmers refuses to even attempt to make access fixes out of sheer laziness, that is unfathomable to me.  I'm not saying that they can't, or shouldn't, market primarily to persons who are sighted, but I see absolutely no reason why, with that many coders, they can't do both, even if our releases have to be staggered six to twelve months post the initi
 al mainstream release.  Take Valve, for example.  There is absolutely zero reason why they cannot implement some accessibility into steam.  Laziness is the reason why they refuse.  You'd think that devs who love what they do would relish the chance to learn new things and the challenge.  Yet it seems as though the devs that are even willing to listen to us or consider us are the ones that are one and two person crews, for whom the effort is going to be tremendous.  Yet the companies that have hundreds of coders, the teams that could divide the work among everyone so that the effort isn't totally taken on by one or two, and so that the problems are more easily solved, don't even consider it.  That's ridiculous to me.  That smacks of nothing but laziness.  So I am not pissed about development delays.  I myself have been working on a game for several years, actually, and a large part of the delay has been simply life
 -related.  Life shit just got in the way...illness, divorce, etc...  And now that things are on more of an even keel in my life, and I have started working on it again, I have encountered a serious development issue that has forced me to entirely restructure my code, further delaying things.  (I apologize for the numerous developer room posts that I am certain will be written before the game is finished in advance, smile).  That being said, I am by no means giving in or giving up, and if it takes me ten more fucking years, I will finish it.  Lol.  So delays don't displease me.  Laziness, apathy, and being ignored  are what piss me off.  As for code 7, let's be patient and give Kevin and his partner a chance to prove themselves.  From what I have seen, they seem to be upstanding and deserve the benefit of the doubt.JLove

Ahoy there,I don't know much about the system reserved partition,but if necessary windows installation automatically creates one, so if I were you, I wouldn't bother as long as the system works fine without any issues.I am using bootcamp on my mbp,so I have no choice but to use win10,thank you apple, so I don't know, my previous win7 machines did have a system reserved partition,but the win10 doesn't.Actually, it could have been created but hidden, have you tried diskpart?Just some thoughts.Grryf

We'd all love a fantasy game with a storyline that keeps people going for hours,, unfortunately we haven't quite got there yet  though there are some options other than muds and browser games, though if you want lotr games those might still be your best bet.one of the best I can think of is King of dragon pass on Ios, (sadly the android port isn't accessible). I'm not sure if you'd call this an rpg, resource management game,  interactive story or all of the above, but however you cut it, its a truly amazing game. You take charge of a tribe of people with a Viking like culture in a world of gods and spirits. gAmeplay involves making decisions and also managing your tribe's resources, and can vary from sending diplomatic missions to other tribes to gain their support, to raiding, to fighting off enemy attacks, or making decisions about your farm or trade. There are also in game events which occur like interactive stor
 ies. What is particularly amazing is that all your clan aren't equal, and your ring of advisers or clan rulers have their own opinions, strengths and weaknesses. It's a complex game to learn, but well worth the time and effort and is one I have indeed played for hours.Another option which might or might not be too similar to the browser games you mention are gamebooks, I'm particularly thinking here of books like those on the choiceofgames website. these are interactive stories where you make choices on behalf of your character. What is especially notable for these is that your character has stats that influence their ability to succeed at things but each stat is usually a combination of a percentage choices, for example I can think of one game where you have a stat of finesse/brutality. So if you take a straight forward approach to fighting your brutality stat goes up, where as  you make choices more based on evasion and swiftness approa
 ch your finesse goes up. This is fine, however you will find occasions, say where your dodging an incoming blow or trying to knock and enemy's weapon out of their hand where you will need one stat or the other, and your choices will dictate your success and failure. it's not always about fighting either, for example I can think of one game where you have an honesty/duplicity stat. Honesty is all very well for making yourself believed when telling the truth, but what do you do when you need! to fabricate  story in a hurry? I can strongly recommend these, they are browser based, though can be played on Ios, but are very different from your standard click attack to fight type browser game. Also in the matter of gamebooks there are the ffproject, project aon and chronicles of arborell if you want a more traditional story with the usual choices and diece based combat,  though don't under estimate these (there are some very long and comp
 lex adventures on both sites to keep you going). This is about all I can think of in terms of fantasy and story line. of course we have a few audio rpgs now, Entombed for a basic dungeon crawl with lots of tactical monster killing, Manamon which is very much like audio pokemon, and paladin of the sky which is more  a mainstream console rpg with a rather odd story and combat mechanics, or the adventure to fate games on Ios which are more like ractical combat outings, so if you wanted something slightly outside the story based medieval fantasy genre you could try those.hth.

I think there are some campaigns for products that _could_ be released without funding, but at a significantly lower quality. Ex, AHC was funding things like sounds and voices, where they could have released the game as it was and have it seem less professional.So I guess I'm wondering if you differentiate "viable but obviously 2 dudes in a garage" status from "definitely have nothing reasonably releasable even by amature standards", in terms of fundability, or if you're strictly interested only in the products final quality? (I say final quality because "final form" isn't really applicable in the days where everything is continuously updated.)

I should have mentioned that I got the door ID and the password, but after an hour am still stuck in the room behind the locked door. The only useable choices I've been able to use are system check, system info, database search, apps, calculator, and room controls. Puzzles are fun when there are logical hints or clues buried in the game for you to discover to give you a chance at solving the puzzle with some thought, with no instructions on how to play the game, and nothing in the way of logical hints or clues, this game seems to be not much more than a huge guessing game.Not what I would call an adventure.

alright, so doing a bit of digging found me this, and I've found that this works.so if you want to reset in order to unlock all the cards again, do this.  go into program files and Steam-> userdata-> "your user id" ->"app id of your yugioh game"-> remote-> savegame.datYou can find the app id of your game in the steam_appid textfile, located under: Steam\steamapps\common\Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelistjust delete the savedata, and you'll be all set.naturally all dlc will still be there as it has nothing to do with your save. also, I hope the battle city map doesn't appear often, it's a bit annoying having to press y on every single card to get better info.doable, but annoying.Now I'll be off, have to get my revenge on Mako tsunami

Unfortunately, /arch/setup no longer comes on Arch Linux. It hasn't since 2012 I think. It's no longer necessary, anyway -- your supposed to manually install Arch Linux to allow you the most customizability. You might also learn a few things here and there if you do. Using an installation script like /arch/setup removes the possibility of you learning anything and the possibility of full customizability. If that script was there now, it would be like locking you into a specific set of options and not allowing you to manually install it. In fact, the URL that discusses the arch installation scripts (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … edirect=no) now redirects to the installation guide (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_guide). I would stop attempting to find it and just install it manually.

Life as a blind person is challenging enough without choosing to try to use something that isn't designed to be accessible.I don't shut myself out of things not designed for the vision impaired, I have quite a few items and programs not designed to be accessible and have figured out how to use them.The primary reason I don't use Steam besides the fact that it more often than not is the source of the problem when games running under them don't work as they should, it's Valves attitude towards the vision impaired community by refusing to actively participate in making Steam accessible. That's a terrible attitude and I for one am not going to encourage it by patronizing them.No, I'll take my money somewhere else where they are more open minded and willing to be inclusive of everybody regardless of their abilities or handicaps. A good example is EA. They are at least willing to explore what they can do to make some of their games
  more accessible.

I'll just point out that Kickstarter, as much as it is a nuisance accessibility-wise, does have quite a few layers of protection for backers. If the project didn't reach its goal yet was released, all backers would get their money back as Kickstarter doesn't let you keep the funds if the campaign is up and you haven't reached the goal. I'm not saying this applies to this game in particular, since after all it doesn't, just pointing out the, insurance, as it were. You're still on your own, and you're still taking a risk, might as well get used to that.

While I understand the frustration with steam, I do feel Lirin has a point in saying that making that a reason for not trying mainstream games is putting unnecessary limits on yourself that don't need to be there. Regards to problems with games being caused by the client, this isn't entirely true... but as has been said, to each their own. If you are dead set against trying steam, then I'm not going to try and change your mind... this is why I have a ps4 and only will use Steam when there's a game only available on PC.

It really sucks, it was my favourite game and kept me entertained for hours.It's not even like the COD guys are losing any money when the sounds are used in undead assault coz blind players don't play COD. If he got the go ahead from those guys then the game can be saved but a big company like that will probably have an issue with it no matter what.

In search of a game to keep my attention...

Hello,I'm curious, does anybody know of any accessible Lord of the Rings games?Also if anybody knows of the game Fable by Lionhead Studios, is there an accessible version of something similar to that for the PC as well?I've been looking for some games to play that aren't MUDs or browser-based. Preferably medieval/fantasy, with a storyline that can keep me playing for hours.

If you use JFW with Chrome there might be some issues. I have just recently noticed that. Try using NVDA. And also make sure your browse mode is on.Thanks for the support guys. It's really motivating to hear all this. I'm not saying I'm done with it, but I can't work on both at the same time so I'm juggling projects a little bit back and forth here. And a lot of things are going to change in the next year for me, so I might have even less time. . Sorry guys  But I'll put every second I can spare into this kind of thing either way, so don't worry too much. I'll always have at least something for you to play.

Sorry for the late response — as I said I don't come here too often…I use things like Kontakt, Battery (both inaccessible but I made myself a program which makes them accessible), FM8, Massive (both only accessible through Reapers/Osara's parameter intercepting), Sylenth (accessible in the means of accessible parameter list and parameter intercepting), etc.All of these are paid and cross-platform, but most of them are accessible mainly via the parameter intercepting, which I think is only something Reaper and plugins like Osara, ReaEar and now very old ReaAccess have. For many of these you can pretty much forget about trying to interact with their UI, unless you wanna use OCR and try to look around.

hey simba. no, the accesibility mode will only be english because the voice over is only english as well.When testing it with episode 0 it was really weird having german voice command mixed with english voice acting.

so... here's a thing. I Went to have a blast at this today, and when a map loads key presses aren't being sent to the game. You can't quit, move or start your bike going. Once you've went through menus to get everything set up you're essentially  locked out of the game.

Yes, this game is nothing if not large scale. Take your time, you've earned a rest. I don't think I would have the dedication, or the energy, to get something like this out of my brain and into the world at large. When it comes, it will be beautiful, now I just have to resist looking at lets plays on Youtube until then, . I've only gotten about 20 minutes in and I'm already in love with this new character. Well done.

The new Skype is a mixed bag in terms of whether it's better or worse. Accessibility wise, I miss the rotor actions, but other than that the interface feels much faster especially if scrolling through large, busy chats.Visually, the new Skype is trying to kind of be like SnapChat, there 's a lot of emphasis on sending pictures, making public highlights of your day, and of course huge emojis. Because everyone's doing that now. A lot of things were thrown out as a result, IE the concept of various statuses like On-line or away, but because of a rather large backlash they r slowly making a comeback as part of the new design.All that aside, using it for calls isn't very hard at all. When you open the app, you land on a screen showing your most recent chats (which also includes outgoing or missed calls). On pretty much every screen you always have a "people" button at the top that opens your contact list. So you just double-tap that, then you
  can just flick through all your contacts to find the one you want, and double-tap on him/her which will open the chat with that person. And one of the first things on the chat screen is the button to make a call.Also, Skype has full support for CallKit and Siri integration. So, if your Wife's phone runs iOS 10, if you go into the phone app you will be able to see any missed and outgoing Skype calls on the recents tab, just as if it was a regular phonecall, and you can return them from here as well. You can also make calls just by finding a contact in the phone app, and if they set up their phone number with Skype you'll see an option to make a Skype call next to regular phone and FaceTime options. And finally, you can use Siri voice commands to make Skype calls or send chats. The commands for it are pretty much what you'd expect, Call "Dark" on Skype, or, Skype "dark" should all work and just make the call.

advice needed after clean install of windows on new ssd

I just got a new ssd for my old laptop. I formatted it and installed win 7. After installing, I found I don't have the 100mb system reserve partition, which I believe holds the boot files. I only have the C partition which is marked as active. I have two questions, why do we need the little system reserve partition, and is my plan to rectify the situation a wise one?My plan is to create a 100mb partition, and assign it a drive letter. Then open a command prompt and type: "BCDBboot c:\Windows /S X:" where X is the letter I assigned. This copies the boot files. Then I'll remove the drive letter, and mark it as active. advice needed after clean install of windows on new ssd

I just got a new ssd for my old laptop. I formatted it and installed win 7. After installing, I found I don't have the 100mb system reserve partition, which I believe holds the boot files. I only have the C partition which is marked as active. I have two questions, why do we need the little system reserve partition, and is my plan to rectify the situation a wise one?My plan is to create a 100mb partition, and assign it a drive letter. Then open a command prompt and type: "BCDBboot c:\Windows /S X:" where X is the letter I assigned. Ever pay attention to that heading in damn near every kickstarter page, called, and I quote, risks and challenges? I personally don't think it's a good or bad thing, especially if the project actually is released. Trust me, there are far worse things that could go wrong on a campaign than what you're seeing here. Look at the Clazio speaker, which was supposed to be a voice activated speaker/android tablet containing both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, that was said to be released in, June of this year? For months the campaign on Indiegogo has been going on with no news posted, and it's August of this year. Now normally I'd give them the benef
 it of the doubt, except for one thing. No social media activity, and it's not like they didn't have it before. Their Twitter account was suspended. That to me is a red flag. So, even if it comes out, I can say I'm glad I decided against funding that campaign. That, my friend, is an example of a badly managed campaign. This campaign right here? Far from it. As they said, they specifically stated in the last few updates that the accessible version would be released later and to give it time. That is completely, utterly and totally fair, because it is transparent, and there has already been a proof of concept. obviously someone didn't pay particular attention to the backer update emails they received, otherwise they would've found that. So if you're gonna back a project, set aside a moment of your time to read the updates when they come, will ya? That'l make things a whole lot easier. And people wonder why so many devs in the past few years have said 
 no to preorders. The argument about episodes is completely valid, I can say I agree with that considering games like Blindside and Chillingham never once had in their description that the game was episodic. 'that would've been nice to know so that we knew what we'd be getting ourselves into, not to mention any new gamers who may find Chillingham or Time Adventures out of nowhere, completely unaware of the situation with Bavisoft's ambiguous status as a company, or the fact that this game will never be continued. But this game, Harison's in no position to argue here, especially! considering he won't let up after the dev has specifically said that the accessible version would be released later, during a Kickstarter update. I'm sorry to come off so harsh, but if we even want so much as a chance to get noticed by the mainstream gaming community on a large scale, this certainly isn't the way to go about doing that. I use a TD-15 module,  with a custom DIY a2e conversion that I built  after I lost my vision.  IT's my 2nd A2E kit, and it's not that hard to do, really.    The trick though is getting the pad settings right for them, and that may require sighted assistance, however, if you buy a prefabricated kit, like a complete Roland TD-Whatever kit complete with pads, then you can simply plug and play into the VST.   I use a TD-15 for it's simplicity, since it has what are called VEX packs on it, which are professionally modeled kits that use the onboard sounds to  simulate drummers, drumkits, etc etc.    I am currently selling my setup and going to a TD-30.I know very little on how this whole thing works, I just know the programmer that is helping me does somethign with mouse moving emulation with keyboard shortcuts, and commands.  Then he does something that uses  visual text and has the screen reader re
 ad it to me with OCR somehow, but not  like you'd normally use it.   However, it's application specific, largely because  there are multiple applications within this one we're creating. all for SOnar and some will be standalone.EDIT:Once we get this working like we can for this application and at least making it universally standalone, then we're actually going to do another version intercepting trhe framework with an actual script.  As of right now, the installer, it'sself is not accessible at all.   This plugin setup is working with NVDA.  I don't have Reaper, never liked it every time I tried it with vision, so I don't know what it's capible of or anything.  IF I can get Reaper, I can definitely make a test trial of it and make it work with Reaper as well.  The only reason I went with Sonar X3, is because it's the software DAW I was using long before I lost my visio
 n, and after having lost my vision, I didn't want to spend the money for Jaws, Caketalking, and then downgrade my PC and Sonar, so I came up with this solution that I have created to work with Sonar and it works with virtually all versions of Sonar and is more flexible than Caketalking in some aspects, but not so much in others.     In my video tutorial series, you'll see that I have implemented some custom features like precision  parameter control,  plugin control  custom mapping and quick access, and the best part is the itegrated help function which will make anyone's work flow much easier.Basically, my Sonar setup (which is free to use for anyone with SOnar X3 or Platinum) is one of the only DAW setups that allow you to use a physical control surface and still get speech feedback.The X-Touch Compact I use has 9 faders, 16 encoders ad a ton of buttons, all mapped out to do what they are intended and definitely make 
  the work flow much easier to deal with.   As mentioned, see my other thread about it.Anyways back on track.   This  setup for AD2 is still in beta, we have a few bugs to work out.  We're also tossing around the idea of making the interface accessible with a gamepad, but we have no idea how that will turn out, but the proof of concept has been conceived.  That's what I did to initially control Sonar before I got my X-Touch Compact.AD2 comes packaged with Sonar Platinum and I'm not sure what other editions, but I do know that they are including it with some of their packages.

Hi.There is propably a bug in the tutorial, I am in the place where is the lesson about placing a markers and locator menu.So I can set a marker with the shift key and destroy this after activating marker but I see that I can not destroy all markes by pressing ctrl key after creating two markers in random places.Also in this lesson when I am pressing w key to open locator menu it doesnt works, so I dont know what I have to do in this lesson, because it isnt explained I think, and so I can not skip to the next lesson.

Nice work on the update. If I can make one suggestion though. Can we destroy spy cameras?  Also, it's a little worrisome to set up satelite bombs, but then for some one to just get lucky and wipe out all of your work by just guessing codes which is what I was doing last night.  Still no way of destroying barricade bombs, so the same still applies I think for killing bases. Just die a lot and wipe out everything before going in for the base.

Again I wonder why people always! remember the unfulfilled promises here. I can think of plenty of occasions where accessibility did not happen on first release, King of dragon pass, smugglers series, especially in Smugglers 4, yet again adventure to fate  etc, but are these the occasions people remember? if this were a year down the road then! I might myself be a polite email to a developer asking about the games' status, as I have already done in several cases, however methinks we're jumping the gun on this one.As to Orco's point about first episodes, that is an issue, but its a writing issue rather than a gaming issue. Chillingham had a terrible ending, but that is because Chillingham is not a well written game. Not all developers are good writers, but that has little to do with when a game is released, what is released etc. After all there is a major difference between reading a book that has a really open ended conclusion with no resolu
 tion and no sequel,  someone promising a book, be that a sequel or a prequel which doesn't then appear. The one is an issue in the ability of the author to write plot, the other is an issue in the ability of the author, and to a lesser extent their editor, publisher, agent etc, to get their respective fingers out and get work done in  to deliver on a promise. its the difference in being George R R Martin or Brandon Sanderson, a really good author who doesn't always release books when expected but you know they'll be good when they get there, and Steven Moffat of Doctor who, an author who works so much by "look! look at this big cliff hangery plot mysteriness! isn't it mysterious! wo! aren't you interested now!" and you know there will never be any resolution since thewriting just doesn't hang together and leaves you unsatisfied. Personally given the choice I'd rather the former situation to the latt
 er, though equally there are those sitautions in the middle, where the current crisis ends, the villain defeated and the plot resolved, but there is room for a sequel. I'm fairly sure given what I played of episode zero that code 7 will be the former case, i.e, a well written plot with a good resolution that continues through several episodes and doesn't just leave us hanging, though that is something we'll just have to see about.

Garret, it's not that simple. Nvda addons have to be open sourced as per the gpl. Plain and simple. At least the modules that nvda uses directly. It's why, this isn't an addon but, any game that uses the nvda controller client dll includes a copy of the gnu gpl. Because the dll is licensed under gpl. Btw, check your pm's again, Orco.

Well the problem with using some other voice chat program is that other people aren't, and my lady has specific skype contacts she wants to pick up. For Skype what I mean by voice chatting is not leaving voice messages, it is calling and talking to someone like you would on a phone but through skype. Its odd, these days international and land line calls to most anywhere are virtually free, but increasingly people are getting rid of land lines, and mobile companies aren't catching up on pricing, so skype is the alternative, aside from people who just have skype and not other things. so if you can talk to bpeople on skype on Ios let me know how easy it is to do with these interface shenanigans mentioned, particularly since this is more my lady's area of interest than mine.As for the pc I don't know. Back on xp I had the devil's own job getting skype to recognize the mike, now on windows the mike isn't working at all with Cortana or 
 windows recorder or anything, and  the occasions I've run skype I've had to close it with the task manager, so goodness knows, either way I've given up with the computer and mikes for now hence why I'm asking about skype on Ios since my lady would like to use it.

@farhad You really need to stop with the hole, i'm ignoring you/I don't want to here what you have to say stuff, its redickulis. I just haven't popt on to check pm's recently, which is why I mist it, pluss, you had loged on as your character before so I assumed that you had remembered your password. @everyone else, ground vehicles are now driveable. I'm gonna have to release a patch soon since I neglected to put in the key to actually start and stop the ground vehicle, but here's how they work. To enter one, you walk up to it and press e. You'll be inside and the background will be silent. From here, you can either press escape to leave the vehicle, or press e to start and stop the engine. Up and down aeros accelerates your vehicle and decelerates it respectively, while left and right aeros turn the vehicle. They'll be available in shops soon as well.

Then skype crashes now and then, and the most aggrovating thing is when Skype crashes in the middle of a call and next it crashes your screen reader, and anything else that could be possibly crashed.I don't exactly know what you mean by Voice chatting since in most of the cases it is called simply "calling" or "Skype calling". On iPhone it does work well and chatting is not bad, whether it is chatting or calling. Also, Skype calls can be answered through the magic tap (two finger double tap), just as you would answer a normal call.A viable option for me would be Facetime on the iPhone, it's a very nice and stable program but sadly it runs only on Apple devices.

About NVDA addons having to be open sourced, technically they'd only have to be open sourced if you wanted them included on the NVDA community addons page. You could close source it if you just wanted to host it on your own site, which is what Leacy does anyways. I heard something from someone that a while ago, they said that if people donated enough, they would consider an NVDA addon, but I could be wrong about that, someone will have to remind me.

I usually end up deleting the newsletters because they aren't offering anything I want or need, but every once in a while they'll offer something that tickles my fancy and I'll take them up on their offer.I'm thankful that they don't push it out more often than they do. I was at one time on the jaws-users and leasey email lists,, at first it wasn't bad, but after a short while the quantity of email those lists generated got to be a chore, so I bailed out of both of them.

I never said that I was promised any additional chapters for those games. Although disappointing, I'm fine with only getting the first chapter and nothing more.What annoys and upsets me is when the developers neglect to tell you that you are only getting the first chapter, you only learn that when the game ends rather abruptly. Blindside is still being sold and there is no mention anywhere that you are buying episode 1 of a multi part story, nor that the rest of the story isn't forthcoming.And even though they are no longer being sold except maybe to get rid of remaining stock, there is no mention anywhere that Chillingham and Time Adventures are only the first part of a story that now will never be finished.Omitting that information is just as much a deception as a out right lie is. It's still a deception to get your money, because if they came right out and told you that you would only be getting part 1 and that the rest of the story would nev
 er be produced, would you buy it?And then there are games like Steam Punk Neverland and Watch Tower Chronicles, that developer even went so far as to collect money for preorders for those games, and two years later, the games still haven't been released and the developer is still collecting, or at least asking for, preorders!While I agree that taking the route of being patient and watching what develops as I am doing with Code 7 is the best course. There are too many examples of things going way south.I have downloaded the prelude for Code 7 and will be trying it out later today, but I'm not going to order the rest of the episodes until they are ready for immediate delivery. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Circtle is like combo ender and finisher. At the end of your combo press circle but keep in mind it's not always working.I hope in the future We'll get audio cue when QTE appear.If you need my assistance just let me know, I am somewhere at the end of the game I think.

harrylst,I understand you're upset that you can't play the game right now, but you have to cut us some slack here. Back in September we had to estimate the game's development almost a year in advance. That's what estimates are, they are not set in stone. In March we saw that we will not make it to the planned release date in April. We postponed the ENTIRE game, not only your version, to July. Then we had more delays. It was not until June, where we decided to postpone the german and blind-friendly version until after release, because it was just not doable for us. This is how game development works. Some things are just not up to us, even if we try to make it happen.We promise you, the accessible version will come. It just takes time.And if you back something on Kickstarter it is always a trust investment, you will never be sure anything is going to happen until it does. You have to be aware of that, when backing a game. Just remember that f

I use a TD-15 module,  with a custom DIY a2e conversion that I built  after I lost my vision.  IT's my 2nd A2E kit, and it's not that hard to do, really.    The trick though is getting the pad settings right for them, and that may require sighted assistance, however, if you buy a prefabricated kit, like a complete Roland TD-Whatever kit complete with pads, then you can simply plug and play into the VST.   I use a TD-15 for it's simplicity, since it has what are called VEX packs on it, which are professionally modeled kits that use the onboard sounds to  simulate drummers, drumkits, etc etc.    I am currently selling my setup and going to a TD-30.I know very little on how this whole thing works, I just know the programmer that is helping me does somethign with mouse moving emulation with keyboard shortcuts, and commands.  Then he does something that uses  visual text and has the screen reader re
 ad it to me with OCR somehow, but not  like you'd normally use it.   However, it's application specific, largely because  there are multiple applications within this one we're creating. all for SOnar and some will be standalone.
