Kalo pernah, boleh saya tau seri apa? Dan boleh nanya juga handheld PC Anda bisa buat apa aja? Kalo Anda belum pernah pake sendiri, ya sebaiknya coba di googling dulu deh dan lihat keterbatasan yang namanya Handheld PC Windows CE tersebut. Laptop harus dijinjing dan dibawa terus kalau kemana2x Handle PC bisa ditaruh di kantong dan dapat dipakai dan bentuknya praktis = Ya kalo mau yang lebih kecil, pake tablet PC donk Pak atau miniature notebook (macam Sony U series, OQO, etc). Yang jelas, notebook itu fully running Windows (or Linux) dan software- softwarenya. Yang namanya Handheld PC Windows CE (Pocket PC, etc) itu aplikasinya sangat-sangat terbatas. Yup... Setelah cukup sukses pada The First IT CENTER Gathering di Plaza Semanggi, 11 Februari 2006... Kita akan mengadakan kembali The Second IT CENTER Gathering, untuk itu saya memohon kepada rekan-rekan saran dan masukannya demi suksesnya acara kita ini... Dari beberapa email dari rekan-rekan yang sudah memberikan saran dan masukannya dapat saya simpulkan sbb : Tanggal pelaksanaan 4 Maret 2006, waktunya adalah pukul 16:00 WIB. Tempat belum ditentukan, ada masukan dari seorang rekan kalu bisa acaranya lesehan, untuk itu perlu tempat yang sesuai, dalam pikiran saya tempat yang sesuai adalah Taman Ismail Marzuki Cikini, Pantai Ancol, dan Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Atau ada pilihan lain...??? Tema yang akan kita bicarakan adalah segala sesuatu mengenai Dunia Open Source... Mulai dari sistem operasinya, bahasa pemrogramannya, nilai tambahnya bagi perekonomian Indonesia, dan tentu saja peranan komunitas IT CENTER kita... Jadi dari pertemuan pertama kita telah sepakat untuk mengusung suatu tema tertentu dalam setiap pertemuan yang akan kita adakan... Tema yang akan kita bicarakan tentunya akan beganti-ganti di karenakan komunitas kita ini adalah suatu komunitas yang heterogen... Kalo kompi lu harus dibuka cashingnya, sebaiknya ditutup juga dengan kawat nyamuk supaya debu nggak masuk dan binatang kayak nyamuk, semut dan kecoa nggak masuk ke kompi. Kompi bisa jadi lambat dan suka hang karena : 1. Processornya nggak tahan panas ato udah kepanasan 2. Kompi bagian dalam udah kotor dan berdebu terutama bagian motherboard. 3. Memory udah rewel alias soak. 4. Ada virus yang ngabisin memory 5. Jadi dari pertemuan pertama kita telah sepakat untuk mengusung suatu tema tertentu dalam setiap pertemuan yang akan kita adakan... Tema yang akan kita bicarakan tentunya akan beganti-ganti di karenakan komunitas kita ini adalah suatu komunitas yang heterogen... Dilain kesempatan mungkin kita akan membahas masalah Networking, Sistem Operasi, Teknolgi .NET, Middleware, IDE, Design Pattern dll Kemungkinan juga kita akan mencari sponsor-sponsor yang berhubungan dengan dunia Open Source, yang bisa menambah wawasan kita dengan presentasinya (dan tentunya sumbangan untuk Lucky Draw di akhir acara...) Lalu pada console DNS yg ada di Win 2003 server, klik kanan DNS server name dan pilih properties. Klik tab Forwarders dan masukin ISP DNS server IP address disini. Hal ini akan membuat DNS server memforward DNS request untuk keperluan clients. Smoga dapat membantu. Dear all, Sering saya ngalamin yang namanya mati listrik dikantor, kebetulan di kantor ada server DNS, Web, Proxy dan Databases. Apa sih yg seharusnya kita lakukan untuk server2 tsb, ketika listrik mati... Misalkan Listrik mati, untuk server kan ada UPS yang bisa +- 1 jam untuk menghandle sumber listrik, nah ketika 1 jam tersebut apa yang musti kita lakukan? apakah mematikan server? apakah didiamkan saja sampe listrik hidup kembali? (klo mati listriknya 6 jam gmn?) apakah backup? (klo DNS server, Webserver, apanya yg di backup?) Monggo ah di reply... he he he... tak coba reply yah mas... kalo buat server sebaiknya pake UPS yg support software management. Ciri2nya biasanya pada paket UPS-nya disediakan software dan kabel konsol/data untuk menghubungkan UPS ke komputer. Dilain kesempatan mungkin kita akan membahas masalah Networking, Sistem Operasi, Teknolgi .NET, Middleware, IDE, Design Pattern dll Jangan lupa untuk yang punya library or E-book, tutorial serta artikel2 yang berhubungan dengan cakupan bahsan bisa saling berbagi ketika pertemuan nanti. Kemungkinan juga kita akan mencari sponsor-sponsor yang berhubungan dengan dunia Open Source, yang bisa menambah wawasan kita dengan presentasinya (dan tentunya sumbangan untuk Lucky Draw di akhir acara...) Yang pasti sih mas Invaleed, adalah server yang dikatakan mempunya i transaksi online lebih di prioritaskan, yakni server database dan server mail, karena ditakutkan ada transaksi yang terpending ketika dan sebelum listrik di UPS itu mati, lebih baik sih di backup databasenya. tapi sebaiknya jangan dadakan juga untuk proses backupnya, tetapi lebih pake planning untuk databasenya. Jadi jangan ketika mo mati baru di backup, tapi setiap harinya dibackup.Soalnya saya pernah punya pengalaman di server Lotus Domino, yang hancur databasenya, gara2 listrik mati. Kalo untuk server dns, proxy, web, Antivirus dan yang lainnya lebih baik dimatikan saja sebelum UPSnya habis...?? so sepertinya akan baik2 aja tuh server... Gini rek, Kalo mati listrik, client di kantor juga kan mati listrik. Jadi nggak perlu backup sampai 6 jam misalnya. Tetapi yang perlu diperhatikan adalah proses shutdown pada server. Buat system yang kira-kira seperti ini : - Semua server di handle oleh UPS - Jika listrik mati, maka server akan shutdown secara otomatis setelah sekian waktu (1/2 jam misalnya) - Jika listrik nyala kembali, maka server otomatis akan nyala kembali dengan sendirinya Jadi, down server secara tiba-tiba bisa dihindari, walaupum tidak ada orang. Tinggal pilih brand UPS yang bisa support system seperti ini. Nah kalo yang ini saya bisa jawab, dan jawabannya mmg beda, teman saya ada yg coba beli yg bkn ori diadu dgn DKU5 saya, hasilnya mmg beda dan skrg sdh dilego. Kata P.Jimmy benar juga sih lbh praktis pake PCMCIA. Saya mo kasih info tuk rekan2 di Jkt n Semarang, stoknya PCMCIA n USB- nya M8 skrg sdh ada, sadly di tempat saya Surabaya malah blm ada, paketnya murah, ambil paket 15 jam/bln, bayar alatnya cuma 300rb (ZTE loh), gratis 10 jam bln pertama, n kuota pemakaian 15jam/bln dgn abonemen 160 rb/bln selama 12 bln. Kalo koneksiinternet kita / bln lbh dariitu kan alatnya jd murah banget. Thx, just want to share.
