yup, definitely one of the better albums of the year. best uk album for sure. out of
the hype between BDB, the doves and coldplay, BDB kicks arse over the other two.
bewilderbeast could possibly even be in my top 5!

damian gough has a beautiful voice - falling somewhere between elliott smith and
jeremy enigk :)

i'd recommend buying the album. its well worth it!

I got one at the Cambridge store. Of course, I got there in the morning
and by that point they only had a couple left. I am pretty sure they
won't be selling any, because on the ticket it says "free show". Maybe
call tt's and see if they know of any options.
good luck.

it's not. while i agree with leigh about how we shouldn't suck up just so
bush won't get in office, i don't trust that fucking cocknazi.
here are some reasons why:
- he threatened to sue gwbush.com and any other sites that made fun of him.
- he admitted that he thinks there should be 'limited access to free
speech'
- if he were to be president and someone wrote a letter to say..cnn or some
place like that, he could have that person auditted if they left too much
information.
- i don't hate gore enough to not vote for him
- he can't make coherent sentences
- i'd rather see a good president than a good administration
*coughleighcough* (or whoever wrote this, but i'm pretty sure it was leigh)
;)
- looking at him for four years will make me violently ill and will rot out
all my teeth. when this happens i'll have to vomit on all of you who chose
to vote for nader rather than gore ;)

if those answers don't suffice, oh well, but to me..rebelling against bush
and gore isn't worth having the former in office for four years.

Only a complete idiot would jump down your throat for that. I'm not exactly
sure what "passive homophobia" means, if gay people scare you, or if you
look at homosexuality with a sense of derision, then you're homophobic.
Generally, when a guy calls another guy "gay" or "fag" they aren't calling
them jovial or equating them with a cigarette...people just don't understand
how much their usage of language relects their biases and pathologies. As
is usually borne out in an incoherant, non-sensical rant such as Mr.
Stratton's. Yes, you are most likely to be yourself when you're not
consciously processing what your "self" ought to be, as much as that might
suck.

I am taking nothing said here seriously. (I mean, really, I'd

YES Game 6, in front of that 'home crowd!' The realization of Modano's
fluke goal, the Stanley Cup is paraded in front of a losing crowd.

Hah! You two are perfect together--suffering from a classic 'poor loser
complex.' The Devils (if you haven't (obviously) noticed) are playing
some of the most graceful hockey. The passing, the checking, the
chemistry... absolutely sublime. As for dirty players well, I've
already mentioned Hatcher's nature. (G'D red-neck. Nothing but a meat-
head.) At least Lemieux does it w/ style.

I'm not even a Jersey fan regularly, but at least I can respect the skill
of their play. (Some hockey fans actually give up the game when their
team is out-played!) When it's phenomenal, I have to admit it. The
Devils are phenomenal! Dallas has been terrified since game 1, but I'm
happy they got lucky tonight. Was looking forward to another display
of excellence (by New Jersey) on Saturday.

Justin

Btw--It's amazing, MER, that you say the Devils are crying to the
Refs when you aren't even watching the games. What is that? Some
kind of women's intuition? Silly.

OH YES HOW SWEET IT IS.

GOSH i love sticking by my team even when they are down 2 games to none and
then they come back and especially in a game like that wow. OT 3 and 4
sometimes i forgot i was watching a hockey game almost i was so tired. I felt
so bad in OT 5 for those boys you could just see the pain in their faces
after doing the smallest things.

How about Tugnets lucky feet after those few pucks sliped through them. And
cross-bars goly gosh.

. With the second replay of the "disputed" goal i knew it went off someones
head or body and not a stick it took them like minutes and minutes to figure
that out. I laughed perty hard when they all figured that out or thought it
probally was that.

YES WE STILL HAVE A SERIES AND YES THE PENS ARENT GOING MUCH FARTHER.

GO FLYERS!

Tim Kinsella was awesome tonight in Boston. I just don't understand why
everytime he plays here he has to compete with assholes who feel like talking
through his entire set. Why do people pay to go to a show when they should be
at a bar? Luckily, they seemed to leave or quiet down halfway through.
Anyway, yeah, he's perfect... to be perfectly blunt about it. :)

I asked for polar bear stories by the way.

oh yeah... so the Flyers may have looked like a pee-wee hockey team tonight,
but they will be stronger for Game 2. I hope. Game 3 is on my 21st birthday,
and if they lose that one all hell is gonna break loose here in Boston.

they'll never catch me...I'm fucking innocent,
