I think you need to uncheck it for both players and check it on both players when you want DOP where it's supported (thus no sound where not supported) for the moment I experienced in my system I couldn't mix these settings cpu wrote: > DSD works fine for me too so it's sorted. > But one problem now - on player that is unable to play DSD I've > unchecked DSD-over-PCM but playing files gives no sound, looks like sox > is not working properly. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*
Synology packages it, I ran into the same response with them in late 2014 (I found the email to confirm) I had replied: "Logitech has never made a Synology package. Synology has always taken the appropriate ARM release tar balls from the Logitech website & created the package." They wrote back: "My apologies, you are correct. I was looking into it with my support team, and we do not have a release date scheduled for the next logitech release date in our documentation. I have submitted an inquiry about it to our developers, and will let you know if we hear back about it." cybergrimes's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61905 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103636 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I dropped a mail to synology support to know if they could fix it and when, and make sure they "loose" the 0.93 audio scan forever... They answered it is developped by a third party and do not support it... So do you know who packages the synology package of LMS? Publisher reads Synology Inc. ... -@pinkdot/Martin-: After installing LmsUpdate package 1131, the LmsUpdate skin is not 'flat' anymore. Instead it looks like the standard skin (buttons, selection bar...). Switching to other skin ('Light' for example) works, so it is not related to the browser's cache. Synology doesn't come with a nice logging tool. It just registers start stop actions of packages, not even their processes, so sorry, no info there. Can you start the server from the command line, to get all output on the console? You can. If someone sends me such a package, I'll report the output here. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*
Hi Martin, My question on the DSD thread hasn't been answered, and even with the latest update the "enable DSD over PCM" option in the players settings (DSDPlayer tab) still shows the same behaviour. I have 2 players but only one supports DSD, so I want to have one "Enable DSD over PCM" option checked for that player and leave it unchecked for the other player, as the interface allows. But I still need to have both unchecked if I want the conversion to PCM to happen for the second player. Then of course I don't get DOP on the first player. Is the stream meant to be individual to each player, or is there something that prevents the "enable DSD over PCM" option to take effect on each player differently? Looks very Window's 10 modern now!! ;-) Thanks! Only small thing is that I couldn't quite see the close and apply buttons at the bottom of the settings screens. i.e. In the plugins settings screen etc. Think because they don't seem to have much of a surround. I'm not complaining though, it's all excellent, and I'm very happy :D Cheers Will. - 4 x Logitech Squeezebox Radio - 1 x Logitech UE Smart Radio converted to Squeezebox - 1 x Logitech Squeezebox Touch - RPi2 running PiCorePlayer - Windows 10 PC running SqueezePlay - Synology DS212+ NAS running 7.9.0 - 161.1053 @ Fri Apr 15 (Pinkdot Upgrade) willsy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53298 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103636 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi all, New builds are up for DSM6. DSM5 builds will follow later this week. I would like to have some feedback on the LmsUpdate webui so we can optimize it a bit more. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*
Quick Question - I Hope! I have 7.7.3-044 running on 217+ with DSM 5 I have also got an old 409+ which is DSM4 - can't go any higher. I want to update my 217+ to DSM6, however was rather worried that it did not support the Logitech Media Server. It looks like your work, and it seems like a lot of it!, means that one can still use LMS on later versions of DSM, and in fact use the latest version of LMS on older versions of DSM (I see the latest supported LMS for DSM4 was 7.7.3-023) Is that right? Apart from keeping it all working on various devices with various versions of DSM, are there actually any functional changes? When I look at the changelog, it mostly says "applying github changes", and it's not clear if there's any end user change? I ask because I use some booms, some players, some touches, and some jogglers, and would like to know what might be different / possible.
