Re: [Sikuli-driver] [Question #220471]: Sikuli:Issue while selecting Dropdown value with text
Question #220471 on Sikuli changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/220471 Robin Saunders posted a new comment: I am struggling with this issue, too. I am trying to match some text in a pull down menu and then click on that to select it. I have tried matching on a quoted string, for example text. I have tried matching on a snapshot of the text. I came across the similarity information in the doc, so I changed it to be .99. Still can't find what I'm trying to match. Part of the difficulty is that several of the entries in the pull down menu are similar like lev/prod-v123, lev/prod-v124, lev/prod-v124m1... If I am looking for lev/prod-v124, it has matched on all of these at any given time... :( I know one night I got this to work at about 6pm and thought hurray, save that! Then ran my script the next morning and it couldn't find it again... I checked the link you give to the tesseract- ocr page, noticed they say that the accuracy drops off when the font is less than 10pt. I am testing an application that is a plugin to Eclipse, and it looks to me like for this field, Eclipse is using the system font. More investigating led to the system font being Segoe UI 9pt (I'm using WIN 7) and looking on Microsoft's site, it seems there is no way to change this. I tried updating one of the system settings so that everything would appear at 125% (so bigger text), but that didn't seem to work. Short of using coordinates on the pull down menu contents, which I was trying to avoid since that will change, I'm not sure what else to do. Suggestions? Question #235193 on Sikuli changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/235193 Status: Answered = Open DavidL is still having a problem: I have now given this a try using v1.0.1 and have handled FindFailed. I see that handling it wont change anything but it lets me see a bit more of whats going on. The same problems happens, after a seemingly random amount of time after successfully finding the Apply button at the end of each iteration of loop range3, Sikuli raises an exception as it cant find it any more. I'm guessing there is likely more than one exception possible at this stage so if need be I could maybe find out which one it is. As a bit more info, I've had a look at my log file and can see that loop range3 at the start of the test takes around 1 minute 20 seconds to complete. This then gradually increases so after 24 hours is 1 minute 40, up to about 38 hours in when it takes about half an hour then 6 hours. At the time it took 6 hours, CPU load increased by about 10% and memory stayed more or less stable. As I was running this from the IDE, I stopped the run with shift alt c, and tried to start it again, which failed. Restarting the IDE enabled the run to start again. This problem may be similar to another recently reported: 235769 Always Prompt: FindFailed: can not find *.png on the screen. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is an answer contact for Sikuli. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver Post to : sikuli-driver@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Question #235193 on Sikuli changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/235193 Status: Open = Answered RaiMan proposed the following answer: --- As I was running this from the IDE, I stopped the run with shift alt c long running scripts should always be run from command line using sikuli-script.jar / .cmd Now with 1.0.1 you can use sikuli-ide.jar/ .cmd as well from commandline using the -r parameter. This directly delegates to the script run level and avoids the initialization of the IDE. When using abort key in IDE it heavily depends on the state the script is in, wether the IDE is still useable after this. I always recommend, to restart the IDE. --- loop range3 lasts longer over the time Is it possible, to have a look at the real script or is it restricted? [Sikuli-driver] [Question #235894]: sikuli 1.0.1 closing while trying to open .sikuli script
New question #235894 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/235894 I just did a clean install of windows and had been using an older version of sikuli (1.0rc3) I believe. I had all of my .sikuli files saved and ready to be moved back on the the comp after the install was complete. I saw that 1.0.1 was out so i decided to go for that. I followed the install instructions and got it running. I could do hello world and other basic things so i went ahead and tried to open one of my scripts. It just closes the entire IDE and doesn't do anything. I have 42 scripts and it does this for every one of them. I am in the IDE, i click open, target the correct .sikuli script and click open, it closes the IDE completely. Any ideas? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is an answer contact for Sikuli. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver Post to : sikuli-driver@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Sikuli-driver] [Question #235899]: Refreshing Phantom Images
New question #235899 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/235899 I'm running Sikuli IDE 1.0.0 on Win7x64. I have noticed that after having executed a particular program several times, sikuli starts to expect or anticipate the location of particular regions, even if they are not visible where the target click point finds them, or they aren't visible at all (a different application is obscuring the target application, for example). Is this an image cache that Sikuli is not really refreshing its internal ram with the actual, visible screen? This is happening even after closing Sikuli and the target application and starting Sikuli first, then the target application.
