CSOT: Allergies
Hi all, I have a (mostly) off-topic question for you all. As with any off-topic request for help, I ask that we post only enough info to answer the first round or two of questions and either let it die or take it to private e-mail. My wife is thinking about getting allergy shots. She had some twenty years ago that helped to reduce the severity of her allergy symptoms for a good many years. Lately, she's having problems again and has been very uncomfortable. She is known to react to some grasses, trees, mold and mildew. She's usually worst in the spring and early summer (here in SE Michigan). Symptoms are the usual runny nose, congestion, itchy eyes, and manic sneezing. Unlike me she doesn't respond to ragweed. I've asked if she'd consider trying a well chosen alternative protocol if we can find one that looks promising, and she says yes. So, folks, can you point me to things that you have done, or witnessed personally, that have eliminated or greatly improved respiratory allergies? I would appreciate any pointers, particularly information that explains how and why they're supposed to work. Be well, Mike D. Hi everyone, Looks like some new people here. I used to be on this list as Sinaj101 and had to get off the list because of the overload in mail I was getting from all the different lists I was on. I have this address for just my silver mail. :) I am happy to be reading all the positive things once again about silver. As you probably can tell I am a Lyme disease surviver. I feel silver has made a big difference in my life. I have been taking silver off and on since a year ago last May 30th and still doing great and not having to take prescription antibiotics anymore. Bob, which zapper are you talking about, Beck, Hulda, or other? This sounds great for emergency use if it works as you say, but I'm REAL apprehensive about putting electricity near my teeth. I've had the amalgams with w/composite, but still bad memories of tooth shocks when metal would contact a filling. Would you please expand on this a little. Sleeping with the upper torso slightly elevated using a foam wedge or just a book or two under the front legs of the bed frame bring relief to many at night. Gravity helps to discourage the reflux of stomach acid which irritates the esophagus. I thought I was having a heart attack(s) too since the sympathetic pain radiated out into my chest and down my left arm (it was hard to tell where the pain left off and the anxiety took over). Decreasing my alcohol intake, especially at bed time, (choco late also aggravates the condition) gave the irritated tissue time to heal. A portion of the top of the stomach is gathered around the bottom of the esophagus and stitched into place to assist the weak muscle. I had this procedure done 6 years ago and have not had any reflux discomfort since. I can eat anything, at any time, and can sleep in a flat bed once again. This surgery has the added benefit (for me anyway) of reducing the size of the stomach, so I lost some weight. Gained it all back, of course, but it was glorious to be slender for a while again. Investigate solutions for getting rid of Heliobacteria Pylori (spelling),...a nasty but common cause of stomach ulcers,troubles such as gerd. Check out perhaps a HFA zapper (Bruce Stenulson device)or get tested for this bug,and take the appropriate ABX. my opinion only, petemc - Gastric reflux can be caused by a hiatal herna and is aggravated when you bend over. Dave, I think you mean elevate the back legs (the ones at the head of the bed). Foam wedge didn't work for me, doesn't allow a space for shoulders. I slid down. Elevate the mattress slightly at the top and again at the knees. Works. Helps to avoid alcohol and coffee, don't eat late, don't overeat and avoid bending. Dear Terry; I would appreciate any of these articles you have on CS research. I am quite involved with several countries in Africa . To them who have virtually nothing this is like a gift from God . Also the simplicity is such that they can easily make their own and it works on Malaria and many other of their horrible skin and other diseases . These have gone virtually unchecked. Hi James, Yes, that has been my experience generally. I think CS is usually very quickly effective in mouth infections. I have had one gum inflammation in several years, and CS knocked it out in a day. Nonetheless, I have seen a couple of chronic mandibular and maxillary infections which---though acute flare-ups were reduced, complete remission occurred only with penicillin type conventional antibiotics. Who knows, maybe they started the ABX just as the CS was becoming effective. It was a great disappointment to me, as one of the people was my ex-wife, who is a medical professional, and It did little to help my assertion of the efficacy of CS. In that situation, she had taken approximately 10 mg/L, 3 to 4 oz for two weeks without significant relief. The ABX eliminated the pain and swelling in a few days. Judith, You are a genius- why did'nt I think of that? I make distilled water for my husband and it would be no problem to put CS right in the water. He keeps it in fridge, but should be better than none at all. Will wait until we get back from trip we're taking next week, as don't want to risk his driving the motor home in NC mountains and possibly experiencing herx reaction. Hi Mike, I never had allergies. Six years after moving to Santa Fe, I had an acute episode. Juniper. A couple of years later, I started eating the flowering tops of the tree. Approach from upwind! The trees are so full of pollen that a gust of wind can make them appear to be burning. It is a golden cloud. After a couple of years, It was greatly reduced. Now, since taking CS, I have no more symptoms even in the heavy part of the season. Hardly a study, but there may be a connection between the two substances and my loss of the allergy. Hi Nancy, It is not a good idea to refrigerate CS. It slows down the Brownian movement, and may cause the silver to fall out. Freezing is definitely out. I have had success treating toothaches with zappers (pad devices) at 1550 Hz with one pad on the cheek outside tooth and the other in the opposite side hand. I have had this problem and some of it is caused by the use of some serious drugs. At least I have to include that as I have a serious lung disease and have to have some of these in my life. But I watched in the past some of my problems with Gerds and when they seemed to occur. I done some studying and reading and started to wonder as to the real cause of some of it. I noticed that high protein foods, meat and the like, seemed to effect this in me. I also read where the stomach is effected at times and does not produce enough acid to start digestion of meats. Protein lays in the stomach much longer for digestion. So I tried an experiment on myself. I started taking a little betaine hydrochloride with my meals containing meat to furnish more acid for this digestion. And guess what? My Gerds was greatly reduced! Hummm, what does that lead one to think? It is so easy to just give a patient an acid reducing drug and forget the real cause of the problem. But this can lead to many other problems later on in the matter of digestion. One needs that acid for protection and digestion. Just a thought from what little I have learned over time. But if that meat lies to long in the stomach, it seems to cause back pressure on the stomach valve and so problems. Hi Mike, I used to take allergy shots but developed complications and had to stop years ago. I now take Quercetin Complex, 500mg, 3 times a day. It has made a huge difference in mine and my husbands allergies. We live in Memphis and pollen and mold are always high. All, I wanted to see if anyone on the list has heard of anyone using Dr. Clark's protocol for large uterine Fibroid Tumors. I have read on this list and other lists and web sites references to various zappers. www.royalrife.com/zappers.html talks about the Beck zapper and the Clark zapper. Other sites mention Clark type zapper. Then there is Bruce Stenulson's zapper and Don Croft's zapper, both of which give credit to Hulda Clark for their roots, although they are said to be improved over her basic unit (and do appear to be). I guess I've been thinking that something that zaps bad guys in the blood is a zapper. I just wanted to be clear on which device you meant. I'll try and pay more attention. I used to have this problem; would often wake up in the middle of the night with a horrible burning in my throat. Doc suggested raising the head of the bed (which I never got around to; just made sure I had antacids on the night stand). Also, I had to take an antacid after every meal, even snacks, or I had heartburn. This for some years (I lost track). Several months ago (4-5?) I started mixing a couple teaspoons of cayenne pepper into the juice (usually OJ) that I have with breakfast. Now, I haven't even thought about an antacid in so long that I can't remember the last one, nor had any night-time problems. I did not start taking cayenne for this reason and it was a suprise when I realized I was no longer using antacids regularly. No other changes in diet that would account for this. Chapter Sixteen, Pages 161-170 on Pollen Allergies where the author relates a personal experience with allergy control. Stanley Jacob, pg 169 [I started taking MSM more than twenty years ago, and it relieved my problem entirely. No eye irritation. No runny nose. No congestion. No problem at all through allergy season. I have continued to take MSM for all these years and have not had to resort to an antihistamine even once. Well I think CS has merrit because (in theory) it should be able to penetrate within cells. I however read a post from one woman who said it took 9months before CS put her lyme into remission. Lyme has a very slow division time (similar to Tuberculosis). For this reason, it takes a very long time to treat. I think CS along with a low carb,protein diet; exercise and positive thinking are what it takes to beat lyme... Let me know how you are doing.
