CSTown Mayor's Endorsement Of Anthrax Cure Retracted
A follow up to the Howey in the Hills story From: http://tampatrib.com/floridametronews/MGA040Y0FUC.html Town Mayor's Endorsement Of Anthrax Cure Retracted The Associated Press Published: Nov 24, 2001 HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS - The town council is telling citizens to ignore the mayor's touting of a silver-laced liquid as a cure for anthrax. This month's town newsletter tries to set the record straight on Mayor Greg Bittner's view of colloidal silver. ``As a follow-up to last month's Council Talk regarding Mayor Bittner's recommendation of colloidal silver as treatment for anthrax and a host of other ailments, the town council of Howey-in- the-Hills does not endorse or encourage the use of colloidal silver,'' the statement said. ``If you are sick, your doctor should prescribe the medication best for you.'' Last month, Bittner told council members that colloidal silver (an elixir of metallic silver particles in demineralized water) can ``offset the impact of anthrax.'' The mayor later expounded on his beliefs in the town newsletter. ``Government officials have indicated anthrax is the terrorists' biological threat of choice,'' Bittner wrote. ``A simple solution of colloidal silver is effective in killing over 600 pathogens that can be introduced to the human body and doesn't harm the host.'' Bittner proposed buying a colloidal silver generator for the town of 956 residents, 30 miles northwest of Orlando. The Food and Drug Administration blasted his promotion of silver colloidal's supposed healing powers. Officials said colloidal silver is not the cure-all supporters say it is. A ban on marketing it as a remedy for any disease, with a warning that it can turn human skin permanently blue and gray, was enacted two years ago. -- -- -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Re: CS Heated Water
Hi Ken - I've been trying this and that trying to have less aglomeration in my cs brew. I picked up a coffee cup warmer. I'll heat the dw in the micro for 2 min. then set it on the coffee cup warmer. I'm using a qt. canning jar as you suggested to me some time ago. It does take about 7 hours to complete a brew. I'm getting a little aglomeration that falls off the wires as I pull it out of the water and a little silver floating on topand the water is tinged yellow very lightly. I filter it through unbleached coffee filters. I haven't tested how warm the water is kept, but will. Also, once I've made several batches like this, I would to have it tested for ppm. I would not recommend using microwave for heating distilled water, I believe it changes the character of the water and not for the better. I have a Polar Bear distiller, it makes from 0 to 1 ppm each time. I use a 32 oz vision ware glass pot, Sota unit with a wall adapter( plug into stove outlet and use stove timer) it takes 40 minutes to make 3 to 5 ppm of CS. I never sell CS I give it away, mainly to mothers with children who are have health problems. RE: CSCS prosystems
Perhaps I may contribute in a small way. The initial conductivity of the water determines the current flow and rate of production. Ultra pure water---below about 1 PPM TDS will not produce much silver with some systems. A small amount sodium hydrogen carbonate solution is added to improve the conductivity. This similar to the natural rock minerals found in water. The baking soda per-se, if any remains in the finished silver, will have insignificant effect on human physiology. Perhaps a chemist can tell us the reaction of the carbonate with the silver, if any. I would like to see the predicted behavior of the entire system, and the associated physiology of the reactants. Re: CSCS prosystems
Hi DG. I don't know if I am one of the people you were addressing with your post, but I started the thread asking for information on specific models of CS Pro generators. I was asking specifically about the MHVAC (UNI-PHASE 16, 48, MAX-128) systems made by them. All of the responses I got at the time were negative. I got only one on the list; it came from Solar and can be found at http://escribe.com/health/thesilverlist/m40057.html I found Solar's comments to be quite clear and unambiguous. As I said in my earlier post, I also got two replies off list, both of which were even more negative and critical. I do not have permission from the authors of the private emails to me to post them to the list or to forward them to anyone. However both of the people are on the list and if they wish to contact you with their information I'm sure they will. If you believe that this information is inaccurate the best way to counteract it is with more accurate information based on your own experience. Have you had any experience with any of these, MHVAC (UNI-PHASE 16, 48, MAX-128) systems?? I was not then nor am I now specifically looking for negative input on this company or any of their products, nor do I believe that any of the people who responded to me had any ulterior motives or hidden agendas. If you have had any personal experience with any of the CS Pro MHVA(UNI-PHASE 16, 48, or MAX-128) systems, I would like as much to hear it now as I would have when I first posted my request for information on people's experiences with any of these products. Re: CSCS prosystems
Hi D.G. If you want bio-physiological perspectives from this list, your are in the wrong list. No one knows what chemical reactions take place inside of the cell, that is why we seek to find the best DW possible. Let me give you an example of what can happen with CS. When making CS by the HVAC ARC method it becomes very acidic. Buffering with sodium bicarb or potassium citrate causes the CS to change color in the presence of sunlight. The bicarb will go red and the potassium will go green. I have samples! Some CS has copper ions in it so if the initial current readings with the DW are above .6 ma in 16 oz of DW then get a different brand. CSBacteria in Blood
Hi Ya'all, If you have not printed out CSHMS BEAGLE Wed. 14 Nov 2001 21:16-44 -0800, you should. The work of Dr. Lindner on bacteria in the human blood stream is a major break through in body chemistry. The fastest and best way to get CS into the blood stream is by the swishing a high ionic CS in the mouth for 3 to 4 minutes by the clock. It worked well for me when I had a tooth root infection. It controlled the pain for several weeks until I could get to the dentist. So it just might behoove those making CS with LVDC to adjust the process to get the weakest T.E. possible. I know that this is not a complete answer to the ionic vs particle question but it give a worthwhile insight. Ole Bob -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. CSCS not so great
I'm starting to become very pessimistic about silver colloid. I at the moment have got a chest infection. In the morning of coughed up some flem that was green. I put it with some CS into a small container and moderated. It has been a day now. The flem has lost some of its green and starting to break up. Now disappointed in how slow it is working i wondered if it simply was naturally breaking down so the next day i coughed up some more and put it into another container with tap water. With out thinking i realized that i should have put it in with some distilled water so that the chlorine or what have you would have no effect. Well its been 2 hours and the flem looks worse of in the tap water than it does in the cs. It has lost its green. As some one mentioned some time back and i agree CS has terrible mobility. Now I'm pretty sure im making this stuff correctly. I am using 3 9v and pure wire silver wire. When made the stuff tastes very metallic. It is clear. I use a bubbler to stir. I leave it for about 3 hours to brew. I keep it in a dark bottle our of the light. If anyone can give me suggestions i would be grateful. On a side note . I bought myself some 35% h2o2 and are using that against my candida with great effect. My skin rash is just about all clear, and my tongue has lost its coating. I am only up to 9 drops a day with the max being 25. The 35% tastes allot better than the 3% as others have mentioned still tastes bad but not as bad. CSgroucho marxx soda GERD Air Pump
I also thought I remember Marx advocating the use of some tap water as a starter many moons ago. I was thinking of using some baking soda in my next batch just to see how the production process differs. Perhaps it will speed up production. Isit possibile that CO2 from the bicarb may influence the production? Has anyone tried "stirring" their CS in production by using an aquarium pump to circulate the water? I had a problem with my 15kv 60milliamp HVAC unit creating too much heat at the top of the reaction vessel, with concommitant buildup of condensation on the lid (and excess stress to the grommets holding my electrode plugs). The air pump method produces a temperature homogeneous product that requires no delays in shutting down to stir.Thissystemdissipatesor prevents excessivecondensation. This definitely speeds up the process of production for my system. I am curious about the addition of bicarbonate-sodium.I know some electrode configurations I use produce an acidic solution, whereas some do not. I believe I originally ran across the air pump stirring method after reading an email from Jon Brooks MD.Was he the guy who would always add these dancing cats or something of the sort to his email postingsand was removedfrom the list after being warned several times? Anyway, he claimed thathis extremely low voltage DC (i think it was around 6 to 8 volts if i remember correctly) produced excellent CS whenbubbled with ambient air via aquarium pump. Dr Jon Brooks had previously proclaimed his faith in an extremely high voltage system. (what a flip-flop)The extremely high voltage system (which was supposed to be in line for some type of patent for its unprecendented efficacy)utilized a million volts HVAC, which he believed at the time to be the Holy Grail of CS.Apparently the hypefailed to yield thehope.Dr Jon Brookslost faith in the million volt system and embraced the 6 or 8 volt DC withaquarium pump. Perhaps someone more technicapable can determine whether the air bubbled processproduces better performing CS (or perhaps someone already has, I have been off the list for a spell). I simply think it makes my process easier, safer, and quicker. Am I introducing toxic air pollutants into my product?(especially in conjunction with 15kvolt 60milliampsAC?) Has anyone experienced excellent therapeutic benefits with those suffering from GERD? I think that is what they call that gastro esophogeal reflex disorder or whatever. A recent visitor complained of this disorder with a history of over a year duration...other family members residing at the same locale also suffered. He consumed approximately 6 ounces of 10 ppm CS produced with the 15kvolt system. Although he was originally quite skeptical, he noticed instant relief. He started consuming small quantities (1-2 ounce) on his own every few days after he thought it started to show signs of returning a week later. He insisted that we make enough product to send his mother a half gallon (i overheard him tell his mom that he no longer suffered from the GERD ever since drinking this silver catalyzed water). jd (please forgive me if i am rehashing old stories) Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. That infers it is harmful. I want to know specifics from a bio-physiological perspective, not just generalized comments. I don't know the bio-physiological details, but to my way of thinking, the desired product is colloidal silver, not a blend of colloidal silver and silver compounds. While I don't doubt that sodium bicarbonate is preferable to sodium chloride, I imagine a reactive metal like silver in the presence of aqueous sodium bicarbonate and an electric current will create silver compounds of some sort. I don't know if the resulting compounds, if any, are harmful, but it is my opinion that they would be contaminants in that they are unwanted. Since perfectly acceptable CS can be made with just silver and DW, albeit more slowly, I see no reason to buy a system that requires adding chemicals to the mix. My CS needs are met with a half gallon every few days, so the several hours that the wishgranted.com Colloid Master with a bubbler takes to make a half-gallon is not a problem for me. I suppose the exception could be someone who needs to make many gallons per day and isn't concerned about the potential creation of silver compounds. I'll also add that Dr. Marx's commentary on the use of baking soda strikes me as possibly inaccurate and misleading. Recent discussion on the list indicated that baking soda reacts with the acid in the stomach to form salt, i.e., baking soda's ash is neutral and not alkalizing to the body. But Dr. Marx claims that the baking soda does contribute to the adjusting of body pH; I question the accuracy of that. He also mentions the formation of silver chloride when using salt, but he makes no mention at all of compound formation from the use of baking soda; that omission strikes me as possibly misleading. -- John A. Re: CSCS not so great/(delivery?)
Yeah from the impression i get cs is great. It just has a hard time getting to where it needs to be. In which case its not so great. I belong to another group. THere is a person on there quite excite about fulvic acid which chelates metal and makes them organic and so easily digested. Maybe some people might have played around with it. If so would be interested in hearing about it Take care damian At 06:54 PM 24/11/01 -0500, you wrote: It seems that delivery might be the problem. CSCS prosystems
Langsley Russell wrote: Hi DG. BTW James-Osbourne: Holmes had very favorable comments about CS Pro's Ultra Pro model. I was one of those with off-list negative comments. Reading the specs at the CS Pro site, it struck me the voltages were precisely mains AC - so I assumed they were doing nothing more than feeding mains AC to the silver wires in their unit. Solar corrected me on that - there are diodes included that results in a hybrid arrangement where some electrodes are pure AC, the balance being half-wave rectified positive and negative respectively. That method will work after a fashion, but I don't think is ideal. The main problem is the high voltages are potentially hazardous, are much above the recommended optimum for fine particle size, and as illustrated at their site, runs the risk of catastrophic meltdown if the unit is left too long unattended - there being NO provision for overload protection (not even a fuse)! I once recommended their tip of using baking soda as a starter. Not any more. Have since posted to the effect that, from both Roger Altman's calcs on solubility product, and Frank Key's page on zeta potentials, CS, whether in colloid or ionic form, is best kept in an acid environment. Baking soda is alkaline, and will adversely affect the PPM silver obtainable. I now always add citric acid (plus a small quantity of potassium citrate, as buffer) before brewing with LVDC. Works well for me. regards, Kevin Nolan ken...@optusnet.com.au

Glad to get some comments about those CS generator units from CS Pro. That high voltage information scares me. Plus they are way too expensive. Josephine .
