drink plenty of CS for a year steadily, wash your feet and dry them well
daily, for any sox turn inside-out & spray them and your feet with CS, coat
all around the periphery of all affected nails especially the open edge with
iodine or tea-tree oil.

you should see clean nice nail growing in from the base steadily until all
is clear. don't lighten up on them until it's over. i did, and backslid,
but am catching up again... almost all grown out now, probably a few months
to go til the last discolored parts get trimmed away.

i like diabetic sox for comfort. i see no reason to invest in silver thread
as long as i have a spray bottle.

I bought a COM 100 meter from silverpuppy.com. It measures the
electrical conductivity of the water, in micro Seimans. The u is a
symbol for micro, I guess it is the closest a keyboard can come to the
tiny little itty bitty m. The com 100 will tell what the conductivity
is, which is pretty close to the ppm (parts per million).

You can get medical grade from a veterinarian or you can buy 99.9% at horse
feed/supply stores. It isn't expensive. It comes in liquid and gel. We use

It most likely was silver particles plating out on the cathode. When
excessive it indicates that it was probably not stirred or concentration
was too high, and no polarity reversing was done.

My husband used the 50/50 DMSO and CS on athlete's foot and it became
immediately more comfortable. He needs to make sure his feet are clean before
using and my husband used a cotton ball held by hemostat to apply the solution.
He said he doesn't know that it cured it but he is still using this and is not
aggravated by it at this time.

He had tried the 10% and it didn't do much. It might work over a long period
of time but he wasn't willing to wait that long so he increased the strength of
the DMSO.

it is some oxide of silver. I had that happen one time a few months
back when I disconnected the resistor which keeps the current low
enough to not do that. It is from not having any control on the
current. If he put a resistor in the middle somewhere in series, that
would not be as likely to happen. Mine is called a potentiometer, and I
can set it where I want it, usually under 1 mA.

What I did was to put the electrodes, black gunk and all into a jar
with fresh distilled water and left it for a few days (it turned back
into cs all by itself). Then I decanted the clear solution, which
ended up being *really* strong, watered it down with distilled water to
be about 10 ppm- I do not like it too strong, my body has hissy fits.
My son, otoh, liked the strong stuff as is.

When it finally settled down & I checked it after a couple of weeks, it
read around 60 uS.

Every elder member of my family would not agree that everyone has the
right to be rude to others. The basis of civilization is civility:

World Book Dictionary:

civility, noun, pl. -ties.
1. polite behavior; courtesy; consideration.
Ex. Thank you for your civility in replying to my letter so promptly.
(SYN) politeness.
2. an act or expression of politeness or courtesy.
3. (Archaic.) the state of being civilized; freedom from barbarity;
civilization.
4. (Archaic.) a. polite or liberal education; training in the
humanities.
b. good breeding; culture; refinement.

civilization, noun.
1. civilized condition; advanced stage in social development.

This has nothing to do with anyone's emotions: rather, it depends on us
to try to restrain our emotions to avoid putting an unnecessary burden
on others. There are many ways to state a point of view, and being
considerate of another person is our duty as a citizen.

Having a spirited debate does not mean dumping on people. Feeling
passionate about a subject demands that we be even more vigilant
concerning our words, it does not excuse us from being polite, good
citizens. When one speaks about personal responsibility, it begins with
our own thoughts and words. It is generally assumed that in a polite
gathering, one is not bent on offending others. It becomes those
listening to assume that no offense is intended, and to look for the
meaning behind the words, ie, what the person is really trying to say.

It became quite clear over the course of the conversation that Simon
had no concern for the feelings of others- in other words, he was not
behaving in a civilized fashion, by the above definition. I thought he
said that he is who he is, and whoever does not like it can lump it,
even the list owner. That is why he got bounced.

Not everyone has the background to accept criticism and verbal abuse.
Especially not the weak and ill, and especially when they are coming to
this group specifically FOR help.

As my dear Grandmother used to say "When in doubt, apply the Golden
Rule."

To insist that all others dance in attendance to my emotional wants and

Boy -- I've got to respectfully disagree with this Mike. And pardon
me for speaking out --I've been sitting on my hands thinking that I
should be the one to be silent now. But that's what's wrong with our
world -- the ones who object remain silent. The measure of any group of
people in society -- cyber-society included -- is the level of behavior
of the least of that society. If it is required of polite people to
become thick-skinned and tolerate bad behavior, then everyone loses
because as we become that way we also become insensitive to our own
behavior towards others. Isn't that a slippery slope?

No doubt.

I do not enjoy booting people. I would ask all of you not to ever
demand it of me for insiginificant or selfish reasons.

As much as we ought to expect courtesy and consideration from each
other, a measure of tolerance and thick-skinned resiliency is required
of us as well.

In slightly different circumstances I'd not mind nor care about his
seeming one-man crusade to convert people to responsible, self-reliant
individuals by being rude to them. Here, now, I can't
ignore it or condone it.

Re: CS>Prill water and CS

2007-11-09 Thread Ode Coyote

1 space space dot ?
The PWT is reading over it's range limit...its way of saying "error"
My PWT in my well water reads like that.
The COM-100 fills in the spaces as 398 uS

Out of curiosity, meter the distilled before and after Prilling it.

Okay Ode. Can you help me out with this?
I have standing Prill water made with RO.
When I put my Hanna PWT in it reads 1 .
There are spaces after the 1.
Does it mean I have 1.0 uS?
It is is 1.0 why are there so many spaces after the 1?

I am going to make some Prill water using distilled.
It has to sit for 24 hours though. After that I will take a measurement.

If a Magnesium Oxide beads tossed into a container can actually purify
water as well as distillation or a well maintained multi stage Manganese
sand ion exchange de-ionizing filter tower...then, yea.
Somehow, I don't think Prill Beads will do that...but not hard to find out.

Get a conductivity meter. If it reads .2 [very pure] to 4 uS [not great
but generally useable ] either before, or after, you made that water into
Prill Water...use it.

RE: CS>Obnoxious people... and WORDS, the first 18 verses of St. John

Indeed!

That is St. John 1 : 1

You may or may not know
that this is one of the very strong prayers in the Bible, our word of God.

We learned the first 18 verses of this magnificent prayer by heart,
and we used them as our guidance in meditation for a long long time.

Profound explanation
of the Word.

So I agree with everyone who says you shouldn't let yourself be
bothered by idiots on the 'net. But that doesn't mean I'm obliged to
let anyone come in here and stealthily corrupt the atmosphere I'm
trying to create with hostile and aggressive behavior.

Its not a question of demanding anything at all, it is just a question of
common courtesy, and having a bit of respect for the feelings of others,
that's all. If everyone remembered this, the world would be a much nicer
place to live in, as there are enough horrible things going on to upset
people as it is. Dee

I do not agree at all. I do not demand that others treat me exactly the
way I need to be treated in order for me to feel good about myself. This
places quite a burden on friends, neighbors and the entire world, and it
does not require me to make any effort at all to understand where other
people are coming from.
