I think a lot of people believe the RDA is way too low for optimum
health for most vitamins. Some vitamins are not excreted quickly,
generally the oil soluble ones, and some care may be warranted. In
general, I think there are few to no deaths annually due to herbs and
vitamins whereas pharmaceutical drugs kill hundreds of thousands.

There are always more factors than we know. For example early in the
century it was just vit A B and C that were studied (gross
simplification), now its phyto this, ortho that, enzyme here amino acid
there. I like the idea of fresh and raw foods, probably vegetable
juicing, live and vibrant. Even enzymes and co-q 10 dont describe live

have your compartmentalized box with so many pills you are trying to get
your elderly loved one to take. Ugh.Herbs are good.

So from this it would seem that supplementing with Vit D3 is a good thing as
most of us don¹t get the sort of sun exposure that we need. I have read
that Vit D3 has the ability to trigger the cancer cells to self-destruct and
this is why it has been found that cancer patients have very low levels of
it. I asked the question because I use the Now brand of liposomal
sublingual spray version containing both Vit D3 and Vit K2. It was the
liposomal part which bothered me because of your information. dee

How did this get started? Maybe because I said that liposomes can
transiently decrease macrophage activity and then someone said vit D is a
rat poison as a rebuttal, trying I think to say that even well known healthy
things can be toxic depending on the dose..

Its not only the quantity but how well your body balances things with other
hormones and vitamins. Excess calcium circulating in the system can be
toxic. Vit D can cause this.

Probably everybody knows Dr Mercola is big on Vit D

 Its off topic but here is a little Mercola extract;

sun exposure or the use of a safe tanning bed are the best options to
optimize your vitamin D levels. You cannot overdose when getting your
vitamin D from sun exposure, as your body has the ability to self-regulate
and only make what it needs. If these options are not available, a
supplement can be used, but keep the following in mind:
* According to the most recent findings by Carole Baggerly, founder of
GrassrootsHealth http://www.grassrootshealth.net/ , her research of nearly
10,000 people shows the ideal adult dose appears to be 8,000 IU's a day to
get most into the healthy range.
* When you do supplement with vitamin D, you'll only want to supplement with
natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
* As an aside, there is evidence that the safety of vitamin D is dependent
on vitamin K, and that vitamin D toxicity (although very rare with the D3
form) is actually aggravated by vitamin K2 deficiency. So if you take oral
vitamin D, ideally you should take vitamin K2 as well
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/10/27/the-stealth-v
itamin-that-can-improve-your-insulin-sensitivity.aspx or use organic
fermented foods that are high in vitamin K2, as you need about 150 mcg per
day.
* The normal 25-hydroxyvitamin D lab range is between 20-56 ng/ml. But,
this conventional range is really a sign of deficiency, and is too broad to
be ideal. In fact, your vitamin D level should not be below 32 ng/ml, and
any levels below 20 ng/ml are considered serious deficiency states,
increasing your risk of cancer and autoimmune diseases like multiple
sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, just to name a few.
*
* Remember that if you were in the sun nearly every day with large amounts
of your skin exposed and not taking any oral vitamin D, your level would be
around 100 ng/ml.

Hi Lois -- yes, I should have taken that point further -- if the nose issue is
a
sinus infection of some sort, then CS would help with that.  If the nose issue
is an allergy issue, then the CS likely would not, but the ACV/Honey would
address it.  I'm going to go to the Puritan Pride site and check out their
ACV.
We buy ours at a local Amish market -- it's not cheap!
Thanks for the tip!

I should also have mentioned that it's always a good idea to purchase honey
from
a local bee-keeper because his(her) bees will have fed on local plants and this
helps to desensitize the body to local allergens.  But be sure that it's raw
honey, not pasteurized.  I'm glad that your son was successful with this
protocol.  That's exactly what I'm taking it for -- but I'm getting other
benefits as well.  :-)

My heart breaks for you. I don't know your situation and why you will be
forced to do this. If this is the case though, alternatively you must do
some digging to see what you can do to prevent problems after the shots. I
had to receive an MMR shot against my will in order to keep my job. I am a
health care worker. Individual work places can make it a requirement and if
you don't like it you can leave. I had to make a hard decision. I did
however do everything in my power to stall, took homeopathic advice and
remedies, took MMS, used ice immediately after on the area, I can't even
remember now all that I did. It takes some digging and preparing. Get his
system ready first! I pray for you and everyone that one day we will see
sanity reign in proper testing and stop hurting everyone in the face of the
almighty dollar.

Get the child to a good homeopath IMMEDIATELY. There are remedies that can
either partially or completely correct the negative effects of vaccines.
Thuja is commonly used, but be aware that each individual is different and
what is appropriate for one may not work for another. This is why I
suggest a consultation with a homeopath. Some homeopaths work by phone.

I like the geometry, no matter what.

 Multiple Modes of Action

Testing has uncovered multiple modes of action by which the ABL Metallic
Nano-silver Particle functions. First, it has an ability to steal multiple
electrons (compared to ionic silvers which can only steal one). Second,
each particle is permanently embedded with a resonant frequency, which
allows the particles to have a positive effect on things, without needing
direct contact with them. Lastly, the particles also utilize a very useful
 electrostatic charge.

If I were you, I would consider making a liposomal formula of gluthathione.
You can make it very similar to how Vitamin C is liposomized. In fact, if I
were you, I would combine both Vit C and gluthathione in a protocol. This
should save you huge dollars if it seems effective for your dad.

Subject: CSGluthathione for Dad/need advice/Parkinsons disease

Dear Silver list family, I would greatly appreciate any advice that could
help me make the right descision in regards to the treating of my dad with
Glutathione therapy. I have become aware that this antioxidant(we all produce
it, but it diminishes as we get older), gives unbelievable results when given
to Parkinsons patients(you can go to youtube, and put parkinsons patients being
treated with glutathione, and see what I mean). Their are parkinsons patients
when taking intravenous glutathione that are walking without assistence(a hour
after taking glutathione), speaking cohenrently(a hour or more after taking
gluthathione). It works that fast. I could not believe what I was seeing. The
only problem is that it cost a fortune(many hundreds or even a thousand dollar
per month or more(has to be given by a trained proffesional in a clinical
setting, because I heard that you could do harm(possibly kill someone if you do
not know how to give intravenous injections, which I don't know how to do). I
don't believe you can get a prescription for glutahione, because it is not a
drug, even though on the internet it says you can get a prescription for
Glutathione(generally used for treating arthrithis, and asthma). We will have a
appointment with my Dads neurologist to see if it is possible to get a
precription(and hopefully if he gives us a prescription for Glutathione his
insuranace company will cover it). I hope, and pray that will be the case.

Their are 3 ways of administering glutathione(supposotories,
inhaled(nebulization), and intravenous). We have tried the supposotories, and
at the current time my Dad is on nebulization). The supposotories were much
more effective(I guess the key to the success rate of glutathione is getting it
directly into the blood. The nebulization not so effective in my eyes, but we
can only afford the nebulization. The supposotories cost $179 per month. The
nebulization cost $35.00 a month(which we can afford, if I can get my mother to
believe that it is worthwhile( it says on the internet that glutathione can
slow, or even halt the progression of parkinsons disease). My mother is
looking for results the parkinsons patients on youtube got from glutathione
being administered intravenously, I don't think that is possible with inhaled
glutathione.

So, my mindset at the time is how can I become educated on how to give my dad
intranvenous glutathione. I will be contacting a nursing agencies, and pay for
a nurse to show me how to give a person intranvenous injections. I can purchase
the equipment needed(syringe, tubing etc) that is needed to give intranvenous
injections. Liquid glutathione can be purchased off of the internet(even though
the prices are something we cannot afford). I have done research, and found
that a product call immunocal, and lifewave patches can cause the body to
produce more of it on natural glutathione, and according to the internet(I am
speaking more about the lifewave patches) can simulate what I saw on youtube
with the intravenous glutathione(again prices very high for immunocal, and the
lifewafe patches). Their was a person with parkinsons disease that put on the
lifewave patches on youtube, and basically had the same results as a person
taking intravenous glutathione would have. The results were immediate(even
though I am skeptical about lifewave patchs(my mothers friend had some aliment
that the lifewave patches were suppose to allieviate, but got no results). So
basically what I am trying to do is to find something that we as a family can
afford that can give the same or similar results that a parkinsons patient
recieves when taking intravenous glutathione, that is, if I cannot find
affordable liquid glutathione from off the internet(injectable glutathione) ,
because if I am not able to find affordable liquid glutathione we as a family
wlll not be able to treat my father with intravenous glutathione. God knows I
will be forever grateful if anyone has any suggestions to help me achieve this
goal. Here are a couple of weblinks(from youtube), that indicates what happens
when a parkinsons patient takes intravenous glutathione. Here they are: 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQRCpdcGwIU
2)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEsl1aOyLHEand 3)

Hi Sandy,

If you believe your post nasal drip and dry sore mouth is due to an infection
then clearly CS would be just what you would want to use and adding some DMSO
would help. I take 2 ounces of CS with about a 1/2 to 1/4 ounce of 99%
strength DMSO combined every night due to an infected tooth and it has helped
tremedously. I brush my teeth with it and then swish the CS/DMSO around and
drink the rest. I hope you are familiar with how to use DMSO and know you
always add the DMSO last to whatever your adding it to...it will cause some
warmth to the mixture which is perfectly normal...also stir the mixture with a
wooden popsicle stick or a clean wooden spoon handle or a glass stirer never
plastic or metal.

For your hip pain also use DMSO...it is excellent for such things. You might
even rub some magnesium oil on the hip and let it absorb for a bit then rub on
some DMSO with a cotton ball. May husband has lower back pain and this has
helped him.

Hope this helps.

I wouldnt be concerned about liposomal sublinqual spray having negative
effects at all. What I said about the macrophages and all that was just
interesting things I found in Pub Med papers surrounding the issue of
liposome absorption. The reduced macrophage action was due to large IV
doses. In combination with a toxin called clodronate, they can wipe out
your macrophages this way. It shows that macrophages consume liposomes,
and I think thats why I brought up. My question was; are oral liposomes
really being absorbed and is there evidence that oral liposomes vastly
increase cellular uptake. If you run across an answer, let me know.

How did this get started? Maybe because I said that liposomes can
transiently decrease macrophage activity and then someone said vit D
is a rat poison as a rebuttal, trying I think to say that even well
known healthy things can be toxic depending on the dose..

Its not only the quantity but how well your body balances things with
other hormones and vitamins. Excess calcium circulating in the system
can be toxic. Vit D can cause this.

Probably everybody knows Dr Mercola is big on Vit D

 Its off topic but here is a little Mercola extract;

sun exposure or the use of a safe tanning bed are the best options to
optimize your vitamin D levels. You cannot overdose when getting your
vitamin D from sun exposure, as your body has the ability to
self-regulate and only make what it needs. If these options are not
available, a supplement can be used, but keep the following in mind:

  * According to the most recent findings by Carole Baggerly, founder
of GrassrootsHealth http://www.grassrootshealth.net/ , her
research of nearly 10,000 people shows the ideal adult dose
appears to be *8,000 IU's a day* to get most into the healthy range.
  * When you do supplement with vitamin D, you'll only want to
supplement with natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
  * As an aside, there is evidence that the safety of vitamin D is
dependent on vitamin K, and that vitamin D toxicity (although very
rare with the D3 form) is actually aggravated by vitamin K2
deficiency. So if you take oral vitamin D, ideally you should take
vitamin K2 as well

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/10/27/the-stealth-vitamin-that-can-improve-your-insulin-sensitivity.aspx
or use organic fermented foods that are high in vitamin K2, as
you need about 150 mcg per day.
  * The normal 25-hydroxyvitamin D lab range is between 20-56 ng/ml.
But, this conventional range *is really a sign of deficiency*, and
is too broad to be ideal. In fact, your vitamin D level should
/not/ be below 32 ng/ml, and any levels below 20 ng/ml are
considered serious deficiency states, increasing your risk of
cancer and autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis and
rheumatoid arthritis, just to name a few.
 *

  * Remember that if you were in the sun nearly every day with large
amounts of your skin exposed and not taking any oral vitamin D,
your level would be around 100 ng/ml.

RE: CSHow to use Silver and DMSO

1.  Not only does DMSO cause some plastics to become brittle but it will
literally dissolve some plastics, rubber and latex which will cause it to be
drawn into the body. Extreme care should always be taken when not using glass
to mix or use DMSO.
2.  Some people use aloe vera gel or emu oil to help with the itching after the
DMSO has absorbed into the skin. DMSO causes the histamine to release which
causes the itching but after using it in the same area for a while the
histamine will deplete and no longer itch or as badly anyway.
This is from Garnet the person who owns [I'm not sure if she still does] the
DMSO yahoo group...
The itching that is immediate after DMSO application is due to the release of
histamine from mast cells in the skin. Once this depot of histamine has been
depleted with further use of DMSO on the same area in the following hours or
days the itching upon application will subside. Itching can be from drying of
the skin. I use Emu Oil because it is such a wonderful moisturizer and not at
all greasy, soaks right in. It is also an anti-inflammatory and a carrier that
approaches DMSO as far as subderm delivery goes. Aloe Vera gel is also a good
one and either can be used before the DMSO to prevent drying..Garnet

protocol. This should save you huge dollars if it seems effective for your
 dad.

Subject: CSGluthathione for Dad/need advice/Parkinsons disease

Dear Silver list family, I would greatly appreciate any advice that could
help me make the right descision in regards to the treating of my dad with
Glutathione therapy. I have become aware that this antioxidant(we all
produce it, but it diminishes as we get older), gives unbelievable results
when given to Parkinsons patients(you can go to youtube, and put parkinsons
patients being treated with glutathione, and see what I mean). Their are
parkinsons patients when taking intravenous glutathione that are walking
without assistence(a hour after taking glutathione), speaking cohenrently(a
hour or more after taking gluthathione). It works that fast. I could not
believe what I was seeing. The only problem is that it cost a fortune(many
hundreds or even a thousand dollar per month or more(has to be given by a
trained proffesional in a clinical setting, because I heard that you could
do harm(possibly kill someone if you do not know how to give intravenous
injections, which I don't know how to do). I don't believe you can get a
prescription for glutahione, because it is not a drug, even though on the
internet it says you can get a prescription for Glutathione(generally used
for treating arthrithis, and asthma). We will have a appointment with my
Dads neurologist to see if it is possible to get a precription(and hopefully
if he gives us a prescription for Glutathione his insuranace company will
cover it). I hope, and pray that will be the case.

Their are 3 ways of administering glutathione(supposotories,
inhaled(nebulization), and intravenous). We have tried the supposotories,
and at the current time my Dad is on nebulization). The supposotories were
much more effective(I guess the key to the success rate of glutathione is
getting it directly into the blood. The nebulization not so effective in my
eyes, but we can only afford the nebulization. The supposotories cost $179
per month. The nebulization cost $35.00 a month(which we can afford, if I
can get my mother to believe that it is worthwhile( it says on the internet
that glutathione can slow, or even halt the progression of parkinsons
disease). My mother is looking for results the parkinsons patients on
youtube got from glutathione being administered intravenously, I don't think
that is possible with inhaled glutathione.

So, my mindset at the time is how can I become educated on how to give my
dad intranvenous glutathione. I will be contacting a nursing agencies, and
pay for a nurse to show me how to give a person intranvenous injections. I
can purchase the equipment needed(syringe, tubing etc) that is needed to
give intranvenous injections. Liquid glutathione can be purchased off of the
internet(even though the prices are something we cannot afford). I have done
research, and found that a product call immunocal, and lifewave patches can
cause the body to produce more of it on natural glutathione, and according
to the internet(I am speaking more about the lifewave patches) can simulate
what I saw on youtube with the intravenous glutathione(again prices very
high for immunocal, and the lifewafe patches). Their was a person with
parkinsons disease that put on the lifewave patches on youtube, and
basically had the same results as a person taking intravenous glutathione
would have. The results were immediate(even though I am skeptical about
lifewave patchs(my mothers friend had some aliment that the lifewave patches
were suppose to allieviate, but got no results). So basically what I am
trying to do is to find something that we as a family can afford that can
give the same or similar results that a parkinsons patient recieves when
taking intravenous glutathione, that is, if I cannot find affordable liquid
glutathione from off the internet(injectable glutathione) , because if I am
not able to find affordable liquid glutathione we as a family wlll not be
able to treat my father with intravenous glutathione. God knows I will be
forever grateful if anyone has any suggestions to help me achieve this goal.
Here are a couple of weblinks(from youtube),

CSCS and DMSO more quesstions

2012-12-07 Thread JERRY PRENDERGAST
Hi,
Thank you all for your great suggestions on CS and DMSO. Joined the suggested
discussion group and ordered the DMSO books.

I have a few more question
1.How long should CS and DMSO be left on the skin... When can one shower?
2.I understand some people nebulize with it My container for the nebulizer
where I would put the CS and DMSO in is plastic.I understand glass is
better
but they do not make a glass container. Wondering what you think of that.
3. How long will a mixture of CS and DMSO last? Minutes hours or days?
4. Someone asked what I have... Have been diagnosed with fibrylmyalgia and MCS
Multiple chemical ssensitivity and ideopathic gastroparesis--stomach just slows
down or freezes, IBS, mold sensitivity, possibly Lyme causing these symptoms .
I
have a young adult son who also has many of these symptoms. I really do not
know
what is the root cause of all of this. We eat very well, use safe products, etc.

I want to give CS and DMSO a good try to see if it can help in some way as not
much else of the many things we have done have made much of a difference.

This is a great helpful site.
Thanks, Sandy

one and either can be used before the DMSO to prevent drying..Garnet

With much more of life being lived indoors and dermatologists warning people to

surprising that Vitamin D levels are lower in the general population now than
they were historically. Getting one's 25 OH-D levels checked eliminates

people with Vit D deficiency.?? Shear and utter lunacy!!!

Work it out for heavens sake. WHY and HOW can Homo Sapien in the 21st
century possibly be lacking in ANY vitamin, AND mineral if it comes to that,
because I have no doubt we are surely lacking in bucket loads of those too
if they cared to investigate???

We are slowly being poisoned, deprived of natural nutrients in pretty much
EVERYTHING we drink and consume, not forgetting those microwave terminators
that we put food and liquid into before consumption.

If this was a natural occurrence, we would never have progressed past the
Stone Age???

This lacking of vitamins and minerals is being forced upon every Homo Sapien
on the planet pretty much, and with the dollar and profit as motivation.

There is so much BS being spread around by those little people in their
white dust coats that people are actually believing everything some
organisation puts out.

The FDA, our TGA and any other funded mob of laboratory Frankensteins all
have vested interests in something OTHER than your and my health in mind!!

There, I've got that off my chest, nobody need reply, just considered it was
time for a voice of sanity and reason to be heard.

Re: CSCS and DMSO more quesstions

2012-12-07 Thread phoenix23002 tds.net
Sandy.. If you mix DMSO and CS and apply it to your skin, the CS will be
carried right into the body along with the DMSO. When applying DMSO by
itself, the recommendations are to leave it on for about 15 - 30 minutes,
making sure that nothing comes in contact with the area during this time,
then gently wipe off any excess or residue. Make sure that you only mix
the DMSO with distilled water. Remember, DMSO is a powerful solvent and
'carrier' and respect that aspect of it.

You should be able to shower after the 1/2 hour, just use an organic soap.
You should be using that anyway.

One huge caution... don't rub the DMSO, just dab it on or just rub a time
or two. Don't 'work' it in. The more your rub, the more irritated the skin
will become. After a few applications, there will be little if any
reaction.

I have been using DMSO for about 2 yrs now and I even drink it from time to
time. My first concern when contemplating using DMSO was finding the best
quality product I could find. I know some people get DMSO from Amazon or
buy a container of it at their friendly feed store, but.. nooo... I
couldn't do that. I'm way too cautious or I am too chicken.. not sure
which.

I know of only two places that I trust to purchase high quality DMSO. One
is www.dmso.bz (no .com on the end) and the other is
www.apricotsfromgod.com. The latter is a little pricey but his site says
it is pharmaceutical grade. The dmso.bz product is a 70/30% mix with a
little honey added. What I really like about the dmso.bz is that there is
little residual odor.

That is another of the problems with using DMSO. You will have a little
garlicky odor. Some have likened it to a 'wet socks' smell..lol.. not
pleasant. My hubby hasn't complained about me 'smelling' yet so I don't
think it is a huge problem with the products I am using.
Also, the dmso.bz site has lots of good info about how to use/store/mix
DMSO and when I left an email with a question and my phone number, they
actually called me and were very helpful.

All that being said, I am not sure I would just routinely mix CS and DMSO
except in instances like an insect bite or some little infected area. I
can't address your nebulizer questions. I have never done that with either
product.

As for how long the mixture should last? DMSO should almost always be
diluted somewhat... 1/2 and 1/2 with distilled water or thereabouts. The
book almost always used that dilution for most applications. DMSO itself
doesn't evaporate. The CS will and the distilled water you use with the
DMSO will also evaporate. So.. the mixture doesn't go 'bad', it will just
get more concentrated. I keep a DMSO mixture ready to go in a little shot
glass covered with a little piece of cardboard over it for ready access
when needed. I keep the glass covered more to keep contanimants (sp) out
then to retard evaporation.

Now... how the DMSO and the silver particles in the CS interact? I have no
clue. And I have no clue how long the silver will hold in suspension. So,
maybe the concoction should be made up fresh each time.

Have you been checked for Lyme disease? Do you use an oil furnace? Do you
have a well instead of city water? Have you had it checked for purity? It
sounds like you have something going on health-wise. You probably need to
play detective if you haven't already. You also might be gluten
sensitive. Good luck, my friend. And if you have any DMSO questions, just
holler.
Oh.. just remembered. Supposedly, guaifenesin has helped some people with
fibromyalgia. Just google guaifenesin fibromyalgia and you can research
the protocol.

I have a few more question
1.How long should CS and DMSO be left on the skin... When can one shower?
2.I understand some people nebulize with it My container for the
nebulizer where I would put the CS and DMSO in is plastic.I understand
 glass
is better but they do not make a glass container. Wondering what you think
 of that.
 3. How long will a mixture of CS and DMSO last? Minutes hours or days?
 4. Someone asked what I have... Have been diagnosed with fibrylmyalgia
and MCS Multiple chemical ssensitivity and ideopathic
gastroparesis--stomach just slows down or freezes, IBS, mold sensitivity,
possibly Lyme causing these symptoms . I have a young adult son who also
has many of these symptoms. I really do not know what is the root cause
of all of this. We eat very well, use safe products, etc.

I want to give CS and DMSO a good try to see if it can help in some way as
not much else of the many things we have done have made much of a
 difference.

This is a great helpful site.
 Thanks, Sandy

2.  Some people use aloe vera gel or emu oil to help with the itching after

which causes the itching but after using it in the same area for a while the
histamine will deplete and no longer itch or as badly anyway.

The itching that is immediate after DMSO application is due to the release
of histamine from mast cells in the skin. Once this depot of histamine has
been depleted with further use of DMSO on the same area in the following
hours or days the itching upon application will subside. Itching can be from
drying of the skin. I use Emu Oil because it is such a wonderful moisturizer
and not at all greasy, soaks right in. It is also an anti-inflammatory and a
carrier that approaches DMSO as far as subderm delivery goes. Aloe Vera gel
is also a good one and either can be used before the DMSO to prevent
drying..Garnet

find something that we as a family can afford that can give the same or
similar results that a parkinsons patient recieves when taking intravenous
glutathione, that is, if I cannot find affordable liquid glutathione from
off the internet (injectable glutathione) , because if I am not able to find
affordable liquid glutathione we as a family wlll not be able to treat my
father with intravenous glutathione. God knows I will be forever grateful if
anyone has any suggestions to help me achieve this goal.

Elbert,

The Lifewave patches--at least in my own experience and based on my
discussions with some colleagues--give excellent results. The only thing is,
you have to experiment to find the optimal areas on the body to place them.

I put my glutathione patches about inch below the navel. I always feel
better when I have them on.

Besides the great advice others gave to prepare liposomal glutathione (which
substantially reduces the expense), an excellent nutrient to get the body to
produce its own glutathione is whey. Try to get the complete whey and not
the isolate.

Some sorts of plastic obviously are not dissolved by DMSO, and some are.

A pdf http://www.arkema-inc.com/literature/pdf/361.pdf from Atpfina
called Dimethylsulfoxide: material compatibility says:

A few polymers can be recommended for prolonged contact with DMSO
polyethylene, polypropylene, pentafluoroethylene (PTFE), Kalrez. For
other polymers it is advisable to undertake compatibility tests.
