only if you lived in theCarolinas and could gatherthem wild.
The AmericanMuscdine grape has two extra genes so it can survive in
the very hot ad moldy environment.
The oil is not availble and the seeds are dried which changes the
chemistry so you might find that this would be more acceptable.
Also, to a great extent the oils we consume...grape seed being only
one...are quite often already going rancid when we buy them.
Harvesting your own grapes would be very good if you can do so.

Curious, I've had severe allergic reaction to grapeseed oil --- wondering
if I would be allergic to muscadine grapeseed?

I live in Colorado and Dr Geronimo gives phone, Skype and email
consultations. Other doctors locally who follows Dr K's protocol are 3
times more expensive than Dr G's treatments. You may want to take advantage
of phone appointments. Best wishes.

PS
Ask Dr Rommel Geronimo if he can help you treat fibromyalgia--- and if the
supplements he prescribes would help your case:
http://fecsd.com/About_Dr.html

If you choose to see him, he will make you take a lot of tests to rule
anything out- hopefully your insurance will cover it. These tests are what
allopathic doctors do not use/not believe in. When I showed that I had
parasites which was another contributor to chronic fatigue/pain they
didn't believe me. It took me 3 mos to rid the parasites and only then Dr G
allowed me to take supplements for the inflammation. It would have been a
waste of my money/effort to take them if the parasite were just to cancel
it out. So glad he discovered this.

Re: CS>arthritus

Gail:
I forgot to answer your questions:
The Glutathione Recycler SM is to treat both Hashi/chronic fatigue/FMS. I
learned, after so many years of being in severe chronic pain --- that when
I became pain-free, I had so much more energy. Dr Geronimo warned me to
still take it easy because my adrenal system is still healing. But I didn't
listen to him and was acting like I could conquer the world and naturally,
relapsed into chronic fatigue. When I was pain-free, I realized the
connection of severe pain contributed severe chronic fatigue... makes sense
now since the body has been working so hard to defend and repair itself.
Thanks to Dr G, I was able to go back to work part time and be a productive
citizen again.
Some folks believe that fibromyalgia is a disguised mask from
Hypo/hyper-thyroidism. I did noticed when I was on natural compounded
porcine thyroid medicine, my pain was greatly reduced 7 years ago. Then
about 3 years ago, the pain returned and I had to change my diet but it
seems once the inflammation passed the point --- even a strict diet didn't
help with chronic fatigue which I found out to be very low cortisol
(adrenal exhaustion). So have an ND or DC check your cortisol (saliva test)
--- it will prove throughout the day when it's too low or too high and they
can help you get it back to normal. That should then help reduce chronic
fatigue too.

I've been trying this for a week so it's still early, but have had
no arthritis pain (or any other pain; I often get random abdominal
pains) since I started.

Good suggestions, Alan. To the list of “no” foods I would add
NIGHTSHADES. They contain chemical compounds that many people
cannot neutralize, and the debris ends up in the joints and causes
pain. Nightshades include white potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, most
pepper (bell & hot—including cayenne—though not peppercorns),
tobacco, Goji berries, belladonna, and a few other things.

Weston Price website has some great articles on nightshades,
including why sensitive people should stay away from cayenne. You
can do a search.

I had to stop all coffee as it gives me arthritic pains. I had to stop
completely (absolutely) for about 3 weeks to verify it because the pain
comes on slowly for about 3 days and then tapers off for another 3. If you
have this problem and drink coffee only once a week, you will still have
the pain.

Not my first choice of things to quit, but it has been worth it.

Additionally, taking some Borax (boron) has also helped with this as well.

Probably some can, I can't. I can cheat maybe once or twice a month if I

higher for a couple days after. And if I'm already itching or hiving,
forget it, LOL.

Sticking my oar in againI can't take fish oil due to

avoiding polyunsaturated fatty acids (vegetable oils like soy, canola,
corn, and so on). I also completely stopped flax oil, and evening

All the PUFA oxidize as soon as they are ingested, even if not
oxidized before that. Fish oils are the MOST oxidizable of PUFAS, and
I have read of people saying fish oil helped inflammation at first,
but over time made it worse.

Quite right, but some of us don't have enough safe foods to do a 4 day
rotation. Hell, I can't even do a two day rotation. I simply try not
to eat the same foods two meals in a row, but sometimes, in order to
avoid histamine build up in leftover meats, I can't even do that. It

Sticking my oar in againI can't take fish oil due to allergy
issues, but I have had a big decrease in joint pain from avoiding
polyunsaturated fatty acids (vegetable oils like soy, canola, corn, and
so on). I also completely stopped flax oil, and evening primrose oil.
All the PUFA oxidize as soon as they are ingested, even if not oxidized
before that. Fish oils are the MOST oxidizable of PUFAS, and I have read
of people saying fish oil helped inflammation at first, but over time
made it worse.

Quite right, but some of us don't have enough safe foods to do a 4 day
rotation. Hell, I can't even do a two day rotation. I simply try not to
eat the same foods two meals in a row, but sometimes, in order to avoid
histamine build up in leftover meats, I can't even do that. It is a
frustration for me.

Thanks Nenah.  You may have explained why I cannot do cayenne.  I came back
positive for it on an Alcat test.  But I was told I could use chili peppers.
Does anyone know the difference between chili peppers and cayenne?

Good suggestions, Alan. To the list of “no”
foods I would add NIGHTSHADES. They contain chemical compounds that many people
cannot neutralize, and the debris ends up in the joints and causes pain.
Nightshades include white potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, most pepper (bell &
hot—including cayenne—though not peppercorns), tobacco, Goji
berries, belladonna, and a few other things.

Weston Price website has some great articles on nightshades,
including why sensitive people should stay away from cayenne. You can do a
search.

I recently discovered a book called "The Virgin Diet". Don't
worry, it's not what you think, the author's name is JJ Virgin.

The book advocates basically a Paleo diet, but also addresses food
allergies/sensitivities.

The 1st 3 weeks you eliminate the 7 most likely candidates:
gluten, corn, soy, dairy, eggs, peanuts and sugar. (I actually

haven't read the entire book so I'm not an expert, but for sugar I
think fruit is still OK and small amounts in things like ketchup
are still OK.)

After the 3 weeks are over you have challenge weeks which
re-introduce one of these foods at a time, if you want to, that is.

I've been trying this for a week so it's still early, but have had
no arthritis pain (or any other pain; I often get random abdominal
pains) since I started. My arthritis was not severe, it only
occasionally gave me minor pain, but my Dad had it pretty bad and
I want to address it before it gets bad.

You absolutely cannot cheat during this 3 weeks or it's all a
waste of time. For some reason knowing this has made it easy for
me so far, I've not even had the slightest urge to cheat.

Hi Jaxi,
Long ago, I read a great book on allergies that discussed nightshades and
mentioned that a quick diagnosis is this: if you take Alka-Seltzer GOLD when
having your pain, and it alleviates it within 20 min, it has neutralized the
nightshade acidity that's some people are prone to.

I don't indulge much any more, but I keep as supply of A-SG on hand to offset
my lapses in judgement. (because once in a while, a nice helping of lasagna, or
red sauce is too hard to forego).

Be well,

I recently discovered a book called "The Virgin
Diet". Don't worry, it's not what you think, the
author's name is JJ Virgin.

The book advocates basically a Paleo diet, but
also addresses food allergies/sensitivities.

The 1st 3 weeks you eliminate the 7 most likely
candidates: gluten, corn, soy, dairy, eggs,
peanuts and sugar. (I actually haven't read the
entire book so I'm not an expert, but for sugar I
think fruit is still OK and small amounts in
things like ketchup are still OK.)

After the 3 weeks are over you have challenge
weeks which re-introduce one of these foods at a
time, if you want to, that is.

I've been trying this for a week so it's still
early, but have had no arthritis pain (or any
other pain; I often get random abdominal pains)
since I started. My arthritis was not severe, it
only occasionally gave me minor pain, but my Dad
had it pretty bad and I want to address it before
it gets bad.

You absolutely cannot cheat during this 3 weeks
or it's all a waste of time. For some reason
knowing this has made it easy for me so far, I've
not even had the slightest urge to cheat.

I gave up nightshade plants and it made a world of difference for me. My
arthritis like symptoms are not as severe as some and I don't have joint
disfigurement. I love tomatoes in the summer so this is a hard one for
me. Eggplant and peppers I can do without anyway. Potatoes we switched to
sweet potatoes/yams - which are a different family and don't produce the
same issues. My fingers especially calmed down right away and have stayed
steady. One cheat and the next day I am in pain.

Some foods are toxic to some people, other foods to other people.
There's a lot of talk now about wheat ... I still think milk products
can be a real problem to some.

The idea is don't eat even a DROP of "whatever" for 2 weeks and ask
yourself how you feel.

I have been drinking this magnesium bicarbonate water made with
MoM and Club  Soda. I agree that is a large dose; 12 times too
strong. I got this recipe from the Crock_Lakhovsky Yahoo group.
The 3 tablespoons in a litre of Club Soda (carbonated water) is
the CONCENTRATE. It is diluted 11:1, so if doing a 4 litre jug,
use 1/3 litre of concentrate and add 3 and 2/3 litres water.
I attach the files from my computer on this.

Yes probably... that did occur to me as i wrote it...but that's how
sloppy I've become.
I mostly use an android keypad and sometimes the keys work and sometimes not.
Couple that with letters the size of fly dung and you've got some
idea of what people are dealing with these days with all this
rotten otherworld techno crap we are forced to deal with that is oh
so much more advanced.
Advanced into what I'll let others determine.
Sorry, but sometimes it just gets too much to deal with.

Because of the high level of alchole esters in the wild marjorum i
have found that in that form it penetrates into the body almost
instantainiously.
anyone who has ever used the wild marjorum in its more complex
chemistry will conffirm this.
I have used the mag oil and writhed in pain untill the dratted stuff
finally is absorbed.
the natural oils are the best by far.

Agreed

Magnesium Oil is considerably cheaper to make and quicker to affect you.

However remember to wash off the areas where applied as it also contains some
sea salt.

I would wash off anytime between half to one hour afterwards.

Absorption happens around 20 minutes.

Peace to All.

Ahhh...
This I understand.
You can infuse the wild marjorum in some hempseed/avocado oil
(50/50) for a few hours
or alternativly
buy some of the wild marjorum oil and put about ten to thirty drops
into about an ounce of the base oils.
If you can find brazil nut oil that would be a good additive.
Your body basically will eat it up through your skin.
My recipe changes depending upon whatever I can find at the time.
Muscadine grapeseed oil and seed is a huge anti-inflammatory too.
Yes I have been known to sell it to my local healthfood store and
farmers market but it depends upon that years harvest.
sometimes i will infuse lavender just for the healing too.
Have fun.

Re: CS>Arthritus Uh, it's spelled Arthritis...

2013-07-25 Thread Lena Guyot
Hi PT,
Thanks!
Just today, I heard a very articulate Romanian guy with a pretty thick accent
on the radio, and marveled, as I have two 'second' languages that I can sort of
read but couldn't speak to save my life. Yes, his consonant and vowells were
distorted, but his grammar was impressive.

We folks in the United State have benefited by other nations' schooling their
children in English, making the job of communicating so much easier for us.
What's disturbing is that so many of them speak our language better than we do.
We somehow feel entitled to be second-rate and excellence isn't respected
anymore, but is regarded as 'elite' or 'anal'. This will ultimately condemn our
country to the laziness and mediocrity of the second-rate.

I'm dyslexic, so when my eyes are tired, the text way too small, and I'm too
lazy to enlarge before writing, one nano-second after I've 'sent' I'm
horrified to see my bloopers, uncaught. It feels like discovering spinach stuck
in my teeth. Online, our words are our teeth and our smiles.

Be well, my friend,
Léna

If you wanted to up your magnesium levels why wouldn't you use magnesium oil
topically?  More reliable than depending on the soil the wild marjoram is grown
in.

Ahhh...

You can infuse  the wild marjorum in some hempseed/avocado oil

or alternativly
buy some of the wild marjorum oil and put about ten to thirty drops
into about an ounce of the base oils.
Have fun.

What can I say? Before Lyme nibbled at my brain I was a book editor! (still am,
so this edit was a freebie.)
Face it: the language is getting frayed around the edges. You'd be surprised
how hard I work on my posts to catch my own faux pas and typos: it's a mark of
respect for the reader, especially when there's the possibility that 'N-Acetyl
carnitine' was really meant to be N-Acetyl carnosine. I've seen some scary
spelling errors in some groups.

Reading less, we tend to spell phonetically these days, and heaven forfend we
could use google to check on the spelling of a heard but unread word (something
I try to do) Sometimes, this is funny, like when someone referred to the 'duck
vile', meaning bile ducts. Between the 'ducks' and the 'gulls' we turn from
health to ornithology.  The trouble is, it makes it harder for us to be taken
seriously by docs and others who might be trying to help us. Personally, I
always appreciate when someone corrects my spelling, though not quite so
appreciative to be called 'anal'.

Face it: the language is getting frayed around the edges. You'd be surprised
how hard I work on my posts to catch my own faux pas and typos: it's a mark

some scary spelling errors in some groups.

Reading less, we tend to spell phonetically these days, and heaven forfend

to the 'duck vile', meaning bile ducts. Between the 'ducks' and the 'gulls'
we turn from health to ornithology. The trouble is, it makes it harder for
us to be taken seriously by docs and others who might be trying to help us.
Personally, I always appreciate when someone corrects my spelling, though
not quite so appreciative to be called 'anal'.

Look into wild marjorum.
it is higher in mag than any of the others and is absorbed very
quickly and blends well with the heavier bases.
I have been making this up every summer for my own pains and aches.
relif upon contact.
because it is thinner than a cream it is absorbed faster.
keep you system in a ph baleced state or even a little alkaline.
this should help to deal with the inflammation in the tissues.
Eating hempseed oil and coconut oils on a daily basis will do a lot
for the pain too.
all the best...

The thread started here, I think. It's spelled 'arthritis'. Hate to see errors

Sorry Bicarbonate:

Mg(OH)_2 + 2 CO_2 → Mg(HCO_3 )_2

Which when dried under a vacuum produces magnesium carbonate.

Selzer water, aka, soda water, is fused with carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide
works synergistic with magnesium and helps the body absorb it. Cramps are
a side affect of a lack of magnesium, I can have cramps and within twenty
minutes of drinking this water with MoM, they are gone. david lubbock tx.
