Hello Peter, To my knowledge, there is no country called Holland. M http://traveltoholland.org/holland-map/ :) Yeah, I know. Can one get a passport being an inhabitant of Holland ? Now a bit more seriously :) We know that the country is the Nederlands but, whether you like it or not, the fact is that in many languages (including English and Spanish) Holland is used many times to refer to the whole country. See for example this: ,---[ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netherlands_%28terminology%29#Holland ] | | In languages other than Dutch, including English, Holland is often | used as a common but technically incorrect synonym for the Netherlands | as a whole. Strictly speaking, it refers only to the central-western | part of the country, which consists of two of the country's twelve | provinces: North Holland and South Holland. This confusion between a | part and its whole (pars pro toto) also exists with the names of other | countries, such as Russia for the (former) Soviet Union or England for | the United Kingdom (see also British Isles terminology). `- -- Best regards, Miguel A. Hello Stefan, hello tbbeta, The new spell checker functionality is not implemented in the Windows Editor/HTML, so this may be the reason many people cannot use it. The new MicroEd must be working now, so those who switched to WE can try to switch back and start using the new functionality. I use micro ed, and the spellchecker is def. not working. Maybe it due to the problem, that I'm not able to select a language either. Hello Bill, ST The new MicroEd must be working now, But where can we select the language? Spell Checker is working fine here, see attached. I'm running the same version (17) but don't have the Languange item in my drop down list. I have the Pro version but I didn't install the international pack - I believe American is the default - my only language. I also have the Pro version but I never install the int pack either and then, American English is default. But I have 2 CSAPI dictionaries, Spanish and Brit English. Maybe this is why I get the Languages menu, because there is more than just one to choose from. Just guessing. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Hello Jernej, and no matter which engine I select in Options, it reverts to CSAPI when I close and re-open the Options dialog. It is not that it reverts to CSAPI because you are not really selecting any engine _to_use_it_, that is done with the Language(s).
