*shrug* Overall I think the song is about nothing more than having fun,
being happy for all those involved with the Pubahs and the track, not
worrying about who is what to what paycheck-that will be worried and dealt

The music was frightful though. Herbert did some incidental music with
another chap (forgot the name) and disses the hell out of it. In the pilot
they had tracks by Carl Craig and the like, then they gradually replaced it
all with the b-grade Pete Tong fare. I'd rather listen to the Flashdance
Haye!
I'd like to have some video material too. If anyone is willing to tape some
stuff, please tell me too.

Ax-020 is a completely disappointing record... More than that compared
to his visionary releases in the early/mid 90's I think Mills produced

I agree, out side of the new plus 8 track (Electric Deluxe) I have not been
to impressed with Detroit releases. I would say that the most avant techno

some Adam Beyer releases (specifically the release on Conform Lost

I find myself wondering where you guys are coming from...
It seems your opinions regarding the state of music from Detroit is
superficial at best...Where would your avant-guarde dj's be without someone
to proceed them..to give them something to copy?Everyone has influeneces ..but

Modulations is much more substanative than 'Better living through

impressed with her knowledge of electronic music, especially house, and its
origins.
The only thing that's stopped me from buying a copy is the fact that she

Well, we are not jumping on the offense that's for sure.
I seem to recall the beginning of this thread not naming ANY specific

And how dare you say that Detroit is stagnant so soon after DEMF!? ;P
I think the thing to remember is that there is electronic music in
Detroit beyond Detroit Techno. Right now there is a lot of stuff that
doesnt go doof doof doof that you do not know about yet. There are a
lot of cats doing
And on techno perpective all( outside Detroit) are Wanabee Jeff Mills,
Wanabee Derick May, Wanabee Kevin Sanderson, Wanabee XXX Detroit producers.
Learn your classics.
