I really enjoyed this CD. In my opinion, the music is stepped through
gingerly. Of course it is perfectly mixed, but Rick is definitely showcasing
the trax (no pun intended) and not his mixing skills. Lots of old school
songs that I had never heard before, but recognized the samples. I love

The press release says it will be released on double vinyl and CD.
Apparently the CD contains two hidden tracks, spoken word interludes and
edited versions of tracks, along with a megamix of various KDJ rarities.
It's distributed by Vital and so should
shoot me back.

Anyone know of a track which samples Fontella Bass' Rescue Me; it pitches
the Me snippet down a bit and there's a very stuttery/shuffly feel to the
drum programming? I have heard it on an old Ken Collier mix. (The one where
he plays Romanthony's Testify and calls for security in the middle.)
I agree. People can get pretty severe about
on-topicness, but then again, people want to preserve
the integrity of a relatively unpoluted list.
Thing is, there are other lists for techno not
specifically from Detroit. Granted we all have broader
tastes and 90% of the people on the list accept
evrthing with my name in it, is on-topic
;)

I very much so would have o say that I agree with you Nick.
I've experienced it and I've found out that you or shall I say some of you
people are very bitter. You need to learn to relax. I thought with being
