better. Honestly though, were all the retroactive pressing really that
quiet? Somebody with originals care to chime in?

I'm not aware of any Detroit producers remixing their stuff. They seemed to
quickly align themselves with the "progressive house" crowd
and thus had people like Pete Tong, Sasha, Rabbit in the Moon, etc.
remixing their tracks
later on had "funky" breakbeat artists like Layo & Bushwaka and Plump
I know theres a joey beltram remix of 'chime' and a PWOG remix of 'lush 3'
not detroit proper but still close...
I stopped paying attention to them after the brown album so I don¹t know
about any later stuff.
