most of the time handing over records to someone else (instead of
playing back to back). That was the last time I saw him play I think. I
can't remember anything particularly negative about his mixing
The best celebrity DJ I ever saw play was actor Alex Dimitriades, big
Detroit head, and actually v, v, v good DJ.
I am sorry but this is just too much for my tiny brain to comprehend...where

I didn't know he DJed but I know he was

He did the Hollywood sci-fi film Subterano. You can look him up on

Oh, yes, Manumission. That discerning club... Why do people always talk

I was wondering if it was a tabloid and possibly made up, but I am almost
certain it was Guardian as I looked it up around the time she was dating

Haven't seen him play around for quite a few years now. One of the last
times I remembered seeing him play was at Happy Valley in 1999.

Alex,
Yup. These cats are a MUST see. Live, electronic, bionic, ultra-phonic. They
bring a great, spontaneous, party vibe to their shows. I had the pleasure of
seeing them in Detroit, where they rule, of course. Yes, they are out and about
in Europe so for all of the 313 ers out there, track

Did anyone go and see him in London last night? Ive heard a few reports from

I'm trying to sell my tickets to Nick Hardie.
Don't listen to them Nick. Besides, you know you won't be sober enough to

I don't know why you ask about the London show specifically but i went to see
his Moodymann (or the Moodybandd as some friends called it ;)) in Amsterdam
last friday. They played for almost 2 hours there and it was more of a Mahogany
records show case then a live set from Moodymann. It started
I don't recall any keyboard or mpc action from KDJ last night, it was more
Mahogani music showcase than Moodymann live.
They were selling some records there too - new Amp Fiddler, KDJ 32 33. I
think they were £15 a piece so i didn't end up picking anything up... i'll
probably be kicking
Cheers for the info. To be honest I'm looking forward to it more than I
would be if I was just expecting 4/4 Moodyman stuff. Was just curious
because the London gig specifically is billed as KDJ on keys and MPC, wasnt
sure if this was the case elsewhere.

Yeah that is the one, it sounds like Prince on steroids. It is a kick-ass

When ever I see a webpage like this I think how lucky we are to have people

There's so many DJs who have either slipped into the fog of our memories or

For the most part I have given up trying.
I'm guessing that this post will make it to you but not the list and I

Hi list,
I will be in Stockholm this weekend and am wondering if there is any
nice club and/or bar I should check. Doesn't have to be techno/house...
I also prefer small venues with more friendly crowd... Pls, let me
know.
