You might like to consider a good second-hand DAT, although this isn't
for wav of course.
I'd suggest do your research and look at ebay.

I bought a IAudio M3 (40gig version). It boasts with the playing time and
seems like a really nice piece of work. I've had it only for couple of
weeks but I'm convinced that this rocks :-) The main unit is the size of a
pack of cigarettes and it doesn't contain any screen. The only screen
27;ve only gotten one mixed
review about it.

Yeah, I got one of these too and it was the recording
that made me choose that one. Havnt got round to
recording anything on it yet though - been to busy
filling it up with the tonnes of .mp3 mixes I have
