can anybody tell me how I get rid off duplicate archive directory's.
I wanted to use the clean archdir command, but I think i don't use the right
syntax.
When I enter the command on the server;
CLEAN ARCHDIR nodename
then I get ONE OR MORE PARAMATERS ARE MISSING.

Ftp a large file (twice, to ignore disk-to-mem buffering the first time)
between the two suspect systems.
That gives you a network performance reading, while tkaing TSM completely
out of the picture.

No. You will have to have the shares. The Exchange API
tells TDP for Exchange the exact path to restore a file to.
And since everything is UNC and RPC when it comes to Exchange,
the Exchange API specifies that path in the form of a
UNC name and a local admin share.

Server 3.7.4 on OS/390 2.10 TSM Client 3.7.2 on NT.

You diskpool may have MAXSIZE set, which means files larger than that jump
over the disk pool and go to its NEXT pool.

It failed because Access: Offsite and it is Empty. If using DRM do a:
q drm 000254
to see what DRM state it is in. Then process it back through DRM states as you would
a returning tape from offsite. That will clear it to Scratch.

that IBM had set up for us. I discovered that the TSM database and log are
on the same physical disk and mirrored through TSM on a separate physical
disk. Everything I've read tells me to separate these so I wonder
