It's not the same thing AT ALL. It's a third gear box option. My car has automatic and paddle shift. It is not the same as driving the 6MT of the identical car at all. Remember there is no clutch and it is generally sequential, which is probably where that different feel of driving comes in.

Paddles are pretty awful compared to a stick. Sure it’s fast - but you have no control at all over shift quality. Wind out manumatics and they crack off very hard shifts. They do the same for downshifts. They won’t let you do anything they don’t like - give them too much torque and they do

No. You lose a lot of gain/isolation with the omni. We found that bare SM works "OK" out to about a mile. Farther than that we needed to dish. We've got a couple of subs at ~~ 1.2 miles that are bare, but are also only 8X/4X. Putting a dish on those puppies should bump them up to 8X/8X. Mor

We have one FX and a few TLs up. The FX unit is POE/dual copper only. No DC power or fiber. The TLs are dual copper or fiber with DC power or POE. Kind of sucks that they dropped DC power and Fiber on the FX but you can get it on the F abet at a much higher price. The TLs are closer to AF24
