Hi ARSLIST,
I have an issue with the Atrium Integration Engine processing AIE jobs.
I am running a single instance AIE in our environment.
The issue is that I need to restart AIE service during every job run,
to start it.
e.g. I have an active job A, and my AIE service is in running, when I
I've seen the same message when trying to use a 7.6.03 midtier against a 7.0.1
server - I haven't looked into it in detail but there may be some issue with
the 7.6.03 Java API used by the DevStudio/Midtier and ARS pre 7.1.

Absolutely. You can write a query as simple or complex as you wish to pull
the source records. Then additional comparison queries against the target
system (or a form on the same system) to make sure you ignore/update/create
if an existing record is found or not. You also have the ability to
Hi Mr. Tee,
We have the same issues (AIE 7.6 p2 special support build for other
reasons). This is a work around, not a fix but to overcome it we have
strategically placed AIE service restarts before schedule job using Windows
Scheduled Tasks (could do the same with cron or whatever).

Manish,
I agree with Mattbut my remembrance of the process is that T123 becomes
T123A, Remedy creates T123B, copies the data into B, and then renames T123B
to T123 when complete. This only occurs when it can't modify the table in
place and needs to create a new one...as outline by Matt, this
There are a lot of different ways to track this kind of thing. My
favorite is building a custom ARS interface to hold development
information, and even write some code to pass data to it
automatically. VSS is also a good option, but is restrictive for
Development groups larger than 2 people. My
Thanks Jason...
I spoke to Ben and he is going to give me a demo on Monday.

Rabi,
We're seeing similar errors adding any CI, not just people. BMC has suggested
checking for default information in plugin_server.xml, rather than having the
correct port number fir your install.
Please post what you learn, this one I'd driving me nuts!

Hi everyone,
Import Tool v7.5, tested on Patch 3 and Patch 7.
Simple import to 'Update' 3 fields on existing records.
Character field updates ok.
Date field updates ok.
Diary (audit log) does not. The import wipes out previously saved diary
field entries. Bad tool!
I am using field 1 to match
Congratulations Joe!! It was a long time coming, but richly deserved.

Look for a rollback transaction in the SQL logs. It is often a problem when

Another idea is to turn on your ARplugin logs to Fine or Finest and you should

We are aware of this issue and working on providing a fix. In the meantime,
