Hi guys, I tried DRC and used Audiolense and now Acourate. I never had
success with DRC with my horn system. It is very complicated to get it
right even with DRCdesigner. There is so many variables

You are right in the mass market software context. This software is for
niche market, small volume sales and is supported by their creators. In
the HiFi world 450 $ are peanuts ;)
For me software which does crossovers and DRC for 10 channels at this

I have the older 3.1 version, as I remember not any typical curve was
supplied but maybe I erased them ? Anyway it is easy to built a curve
using just the measurement and the mouse.

Ask Brent from Audiolense, send him your measurements. With Audiolense
it is rather easy to get good filters compared to the DRC itself. It
takes me 5 minutes ;-)

is not a must but the signal must be generated by the
analysing software (Audiolense) in order to build the impulse response.
Theoretically Audiolense can accept imported files but I didn't succeed
to make it work, i.e. to record trough Touch with Audacity for example.

Phil how do you plan to use the XO audiolense functions? If I understand
the thing, you would need a multichanel computer soundcard/dac (a
computer) AFTER the Touch in the same maner as I use DCX2496 for
crossover functions.

Hi guys, I tired on two computers and have the same difficulty, the

I tried, two cones a 15 and a 12 and three compression drivers with
horns, digital crossover and active of course, 2 to 2.5 octaves by
driver. A bit to much for domestic use, very hard to set up. I
downsized it to only four ways ;-))

I was refering to the Touch display, the screen (SB2 is the same). I

for the bass. DRC is the best way to equalize the sound and
to time align the drivers in the digital domain. No other method deal
with all the aspects of the sound. You already use the computer for your
transporter so adding a convolved filter just for trial is trivial. Try
and rapport.

Search this forum. This topic was discussed a zilion times SB (same as
Duet) vs Transporter digital out. The conclusion is : no precived
difference on the digital out appart that Transporter can handle 24/96
files without downsampling.

I confirm what Richard said, it works. Even the sweep works except that
for any reason the sweep level varies from one record to another. I
created new filters yesterday and they bwork with the 7.3.2 SC.
